Hello, my post. I am only here to respond to others' comments. And no, I am not a person who wants to be politicly correct, I just don't like people using language, and I don't appreciate remarks that could cause problems for others. I live in the U.S., and here, everyone is in the system. We can be tracked quite easily, for security and law purposes of course. But that is all I'm going to say, the argument apparently is going no where. By the way, thanks Yarlen for responding! Love you guys! :C

Yeah, I kinda did! If you want to put emphasis on words, figure out a more polite way to do so. Besides, what you said, "let em sue," was stupid. You're an IDIOT even if you meant it as a joke! On a side note, I am new to the modding community and I am still trying to figure out all the rules and stuff. If I make a mistake, I will gladly take advice. I thank Thrawn2787 for telling me what he did. And I especially appreciate that he did not bring my age in on it. I am experimenting and that is why I post all of my ideas before actually submitting them.

Whoa! You're actually bringing my age in on this. And I wasn't talking about anything other than music. I know that models used in the mods are(hopefully) created by the people who created the mod. I have one question though. How come other mods I've played on several games have generic music. I've played some mods, one for SOASE that contained generic star wars music from the movies and games. How is that not illegal? I didn't see anything that said lucasarts gave them permission to do so. And how can people insert ships from different firms. Believe me, it is in no way a cheat. The AI and other players have every advantage you have. I just sped up the building up part of the game. If your getting this for single player, the AI can and probably will murder you. The first time I tested it, three of the seven AI were only two planets away, each with like five caps per fleet. Well now, as the title says, would anyone like me to put out a mod containing weird al yenkovic star wars songs? It makes for a hilarious time on the menu. I figured out a way to make them more of a hassle for defense forces. I modded the game so that raids would include capital ships like the Kol and Marza. Also threw in some stuff from each faction. It made my hangars useless and the turrets got wiped out. It took an entire fleet to stop the raids. I also added this stuff to the pirate's base, which made it to where they stuck around almost the entire game doing a lot of damage.

I had this problem, it became less frequent when I turned off autosave. It happens almost every hour of play. Me and my friends just play for 53 minutes, save, and quit. We wait about 5 minutes, go back on, and continue for another 50 or so minutes. Just keep repeating those steps and minidumps should become almost non-existant online.

If you don't want to have a thousand different squad icons on the screen at once, you could also change the number of fighter/bombers per squadron. It is under the SquadFighter and SquadBomber entity files in the GameInfo folder. You'll see a string saying "baseMaxNumFighters" and a number after it. You can increase that to make each squadron larger. Don't try increasing command points and number of fighters or you'll just keep getting minidumps. Just increase one or the other.

Now, I am a micromanager, so many may argue my statement, (nervously) but, what if this actually came through. Think of several ways this could be used as an advantage. Just because they're "vets" doesn't mean the ships have to be on the frontline. ON some of the larger maps, a proficient player could use those vets as strategic defenders on multiple worlds. Just wondering if anyone would want to play a mod where all of your frigates and capitals were free of charge? Also, they build in like one second. Capital ship count was upped and supply was upped. Some structures like defense turrets and research buildings are free. All structures and planet upgrades take one second to finish. :SURPRISED: Also, the construction ships spawn faster and are more numerous (10 on home planet, 5 on all others).
