quick question about patch vs full dl. do i remove my old ds beta 0.6 dir, or do i copy the contents of the ds beta 0.7 folder into my old ds beta 0.6 dir?

I have played alot of different mods in this game over the last few months. and after putting most of them through the paces i finally loaded this mod up last night. i must say that hands down this is the best mod for sins by far. its not too intrusive so that it changes the game too much like many others. the additional music is frakking splendid. pirates showing up with a pirated capital ship made me fall off my chair. the research modifications are nicelly balanced instead of just adding d
the problem with the parallels and vmware virtual machines is the graphics support. parallels doesnt do a good job with directx and vmware isnt much better. it makes sense that they would struggle because there is overhead from running xp in a VM that sits on top of OSx. my bootcamp partition is 6 GB which is enough for the xp install and 2 games. (i also play homeworld 2 alot) so there isnt much of an impact on hard drive space.
yes i have tried running it on my imac in both parallels and vmware and it blows chunks. sadly my imac is tiger so i cant run bootcamp. and use my 20inch display. the performance on the macbook pro is more than satisfacotry even on huge maps with massive fleets, full graphics and mods!
i have the sins install CD and a valid license. i am dying to try out this mod, but cant find a way to install and update to version 1.05. can anyone help with this? i dont mind removing my current installs and loosing my 1.06 vids and saves just to get a taste of even 1 deadly sin!
actually i just realised that they work in the mad scientist mod, which led me to dl this one since idont always want the extra research and planets. i will try with vanilla sins with no mods. hopefully the torpedo ships work. i looked through the changelog for entrenchment 1.02 and didnt see it mentioned,

this mod makes me feel like i bought a new game ... absolutely loving it. even convinced my brother to DL the mod so we could go head to head a few times. normally there is a lot of chatter between us during matches, but he was silent for alsmo 20 minutes before he burst out that he had been hypnotized by blowing things up the whole time. one issue though, TEC torpedo ships dont fir torpedos when i use the mod. is that something that others have experienced?
i would love to try this out in 1.16, any word on when it will be released?
im sure there must be a temporary folde where patches are downloaded to before being applied. ill check my macbook when i get home and see if i can find the files. i was really hoping i would be able to do this. i have never usd any mods, but am really interested in trying some of them out thanks
i have the sme issue. i just started tryng out mods in the last 2 weeks, and havent had a chance to really play them since i updated to the latest versions of entrenchment and sins. i even tried uninstaling completely and re installing from the CD but that didnt work. plzzz stardock provide a way for us to download different versions of the game especially for those playing single player with mods thx
Hi all, i ran the update for entrenchment yesterday that put me on version 1.02, after doing that the mod i recently installed doesnt work anymore. is there a way to download previous versions of entrenchment, or even to downgrade to an older version. i would really like to find a way so i can run older mods. i have the original install cd, but couldnt find any information that would help me. thanks

i run it on a mac book pro with all the graphics turned on. it beats my vista pc pretty bad. which sux coz my vista had a better graphics card and twice the RAM. bootcamp-xp pro!
when playing 1v1 LAN how do i start a chat within the match itself? ive just got the game and been playing with my brother in another state and i just cant figure out how to start a chat so i dont have to txt mssg or call him during the match.
