Battlefield 2: Project Reality mod more or less was the pinnacle of what I felt Battlefield could become ... other than shiny graphics and smooth game-play animations (they really did a good job here), the actual game-play itself seems lack-luster with the shrinking down of class variance and smaller / more compact level design to cater to the more run-n-gun crew. Not saying it's necessarily a bad game, just that it has moved away from what I have enjoyed the most.

I feel obligated to ask here ... any chance we could retool Titans in DS to act like 'heavy capital ships' instead of 'uber one-off death machines'? You know, able to make 3 or 4 of them if you wanted but they'd be like 1/10th as powerful etc ... might as well hope. [e digicons];P[/e] &nb

With consoles getting closer and closer to what classicaly has been defined as a 'PC', I'm not suprised at the price point. That being said, I will take a 'wait and see' approach to the XBOX ONE. Many of their proposed policies have changed multiple times since they were first announced, in many cases going back and forth to varying degrees depending on which 'official' microsoft news source you listen too. What would be your computer build budget say, by Christmas next year? The reason that I ask is that in the last year or so prices for good performance have dropped significantly. The same CR who made Wind Commander, Freelancer, Privateer, etc. The movie was his first attempt at doing movies after leaving the game industry. He went on to produce several others including The Punisher, Lord of War, and Lucky Number Slevin... His decade off was to allow the technology to catch up to his vision of what games should be able to do. It was nothi

I see many bolstering their points with talk of civilization, civility, what we 'ought' to do and what we shouldn't. Aren't these merely societal symptoms of the very basic statement we are discussing, not the cause or the reason inherit to the belief for or against the quoted statement above? Am I correct in this at least or am I horribly mistake
