Win8 GUI was a huge turn-off for me. I skipped Vista and went from XP to Win7, fully expect to skip Win8 as well as there's not really a reason
What special abilities do you have setup on the TIE defenders if any? They're one of the more neat imperial strike-craft in my mind. :-)

I have to agree with N3rull. About 25-30 hours into a game this starts to be a hassle. On anything other than 'slow' settings things start moving too fast to keep 'double / triple' clicking on ability buttons or attack orders. Not a new issues but has been around from the very get-go.
