- not a "fast game" unfornutaly one of the bad points about this game. A fast mode would be nice. faster the the mode now. Something like cheaper planetupgrades, less planet life and stronger anti planet weapons. Could break economies faster thus faster game end.

heya, you really make it sound as its all the developers fault. But... Developing games for the PC plattform is HARD i mean really HARD. Diverse hardware, different operating systems etc. There are sad cases where it doesnt work right. Its allways like this. Someone got the sour grape. Heya, beforehand.. i didnt read the whole thing. my 5 cents: I suggest a SuperCap Ship if you want a bigger more badass ships. Like extending the reasearch tree to get them, or needing more cap ship resources for one of the supercaps. In anycase i wouldnt create a to big gap of power between frigates and caps, this could have some unforseen consequences for gameplay. For realism, not all shots in SOASE actually hit. hey, i didnt bother to read all this stuff, but in any case. The recoil created by a mass driver compared to the mass of a ship. Conservation of momentum holds up against it and prevents the ship from flying away. Any movement created is compensated by the engines tata problem solved.
