Because archives require authentication in order to restore (as in providing no protection in case Stardock goes out of business), is the point of an archive mainly to provide a way to restore to a specific version?

They canceled support to the first game so they could implement it in a new product. Honorable? I don't think so. While releasing a new game is alright by me, they should not have outright canceled the patch and still claim support.

I'm also one of the many eagerly awaiting the demo. The screen shots and trailers look awesome but there is little to replace seeing for yourself. :)
