How many unique players each week? How much strain can 30 people put on the servers? Things should be running really smooth.

Blame the MP community 100%, but don't look at the game itself for more than a few seconds. People might just be turned off by the Titan Arena the game's become.
Seriously Greg, you have an avatar with a brain and "Use it" typed next to it and you gotta post that? Put that brain back in your head before posting. Game is excellent for modding.
I've seen the term 'survivability' thrown about in a couple of posts with numbers attached -like here. How are min/avg/max survivability being calculated or are these just arbitrary numbers to support an opinion?
[quote who="BooPoo" reply="75" id="3249003"]ooloo is the one I'm blacklisting myself. He is WAY too cocky. Every game he insta AFKs, always let's people wait for 10 minutes or so. If he gets doubled, because "I always get doubled because I'm too good", he insta leaves. I mean he is absurdly good, but I feel like he knows it a little too much and peo

Why should StarClad have to determine who wins and what is 'trolling&
It's been an issue with the game from the beginning. Click groups and move them independently or the fleet moves slow as heck. I think we have the Constants tweaked too... but something to check. TCA are just a freaking brick and move slower than any other race in the game -but they have extremely long range weapons.
Give Titans and Starbases their own squadron type with 9 strikecraft. Sparda, they can run... into turrets.
Advent Deliverance Engine. Plays banjos and at the sound of the squeal, the population is decimated. Forget flipping a planet, bend it over.
In development or abandoned completely?
OP is spot on. Mobile Starbases are damn fun. Jumping Starbases are just idiotic.

Trinity was barely balanced with 3 factions. How would adding a 4th race and 2 more factions balance out the game? Fixing the existing content is a must.
SOASE is not a game of strict fleet warfare. You can make maps where players start with a fleet of a set composition by way of scenario templates, labs and resources galore for that "Fleet Warfare" mode, but the game isn't made for it. If you're going to necro, at least provide the brains.
Jumping Starbases -still killing the game. Needs to be upgrade on individual starbase. Capitals that excel at disabling/debuffing capitals should have those abilities boosted to affect titans. No titan level retention. Titans have starbase-like upgrades, so why not allow 4 levels to be bought? Starting Titan research at higher tier would make them mid/late and give the other ships some playtime. You can use superweapons vs home
:)
Title alone gets my thumbs up. Ram a Jumping Orky through several points to plant a jump node, then bring in ambush fleet... ouch. I'm for 2 different starbase entities; 1 for each vasari faction, but other solutions exist.
Yarlen, I have to say that I am both dismayed and actually insulted by some of the posts here. Those who have such a clearly low opinion of Stardock and Ironclad should really just leave this community. We balance the game based on the best interests of both single- and multiplayer. Often those two things coincide, but sometimes they do not. The multiplayer base of Sins is a small minority of overall players, so when push comes to shove, single-player gets the bene
why aren't you posting this in MP section?
[quote who="Greg30007" reply="14" id="3226574"]OH GOD Guys from 7DS are talking about balance when their mod includes titans with massive damage. Too many things at this point to change to bring the around. No matter how much feedback we put in, Rebellion isn't going to change significantly. There might be balancing for the next 6 months, but the core mechanics are just locked in. Remember, Stardock started development with no input whatsoever from the community at large, then put out the Beta + content/patches, and finally released the game. Too many people voiced concerns during Beta against 1 tita
Are all Bronies by default Broncos and Colts fans?
Titans Tier 7 titan is not unreasonable, keeps Trinity combat strategies intact, and give time for player to build up their fleet tech a bit. Antimodule ships able to target titan. Damage Percent Bonus for AntiModule vs Titan is 1.0 now, but could be reduced to 0.5 or 0.25 for extra firepower against it. Check % chance of penalties for corvette abilities. Are they doing the job debuffing titans enough?
