Hey there! I miss playing Sins: Trinity and installed it today from my digital download on Stardock.com Store. However, when I put in the serial number, it says "Maximum Activation Reached" or something like that. How many activation times are you allowed to use? Is there a way to de-activate old PCs I may have installed it on the past? I'm fairly certain this PC has never had it installed, though I could be wrong, but it's been on several PCs in the past. Is there anything th

So, after doing some tests and runs based on what you guys have said, I really appreciate the advice. It's been working out really well. Also, watching some replays from that replay thread linked above really helped. Watched each one 4-5 times watching different players' strategies, especially the ones who blossomed mid to late game. Some really good opening offensives too, really enjoyed it. Playing against a hard AI showed a tremendous difference, and keeping early game rese
Where can I find good replays!? Here. I don't know when the 1.1 replays start, so you might want to start at the end and work backwards. Also, while no where near as good as replays, and I'm hardly the best person to learn from, I do record some matches and put them on Youtube. The main advantage here is that these don't get out of date, but you can only see my prospective.
Thank you, I had f
Hey guys, I played Sins way back when it was brand new, loved playing over LAN with friends, against AI, etc. I would like to get more serious about playing, though, and I've been poking around the forums reading up on specific strengths/weaknesses and techniques of how to play. I generally play TEC Loyalist and I move into a very strong economic position then move out with a massive fleet later in the game. It works against my friends, but I'm fairly sure they're a lot more "casu

It was empty... :( I used harpo99999's suggestion and got it from the stardock store. Ran using administrator just for extra specialness :)
Is there any way to link your Stardock account (and subsequent purchase...) to Steam? And I'm relieved to find I'm not the only one having the issue :) Maybe the download on Stardock Central is corrupted? [EDIT: Installing using Admin settings didn't work. Didn't even get a (admittedly empty) AppData folder like I usually do with failed installs, lol]
Okay, new update. I'm 0 for 2 on PCs. New PC specs Windows Vista 32-bit Home Premium 4 GB Ram 2.4 GHz Core2Duo NVidia GeForce 260gtx I'll start with PC one (original post). Yes, the install is borked. I tried re-installing it (the downloaded "Install" file is about 1.1 GB), it takes 3 seconds to "install" and it's the same problem. 64 MB install folder with an empty AppData folder. I will attempt delet
Indeed, well done. Install directory was 64 Megabytes. Weird, it took much longer than that to download :) I will reattempt and update this thread to see if I can help others with the same issue.
Hello there, I am a big fan of this game and was super excited to see it for 19.99 online, used to play on a friends' borrowed discs back in the day, loved it, etc, wanted to play it again. Yea, sadly, the game will not launch. I purchased the Sins of a Solar Empire - Trinity package from the Stardock website store. The game downloaded via the Stardock Central program and installed. I went home where, sadly, I had no internet connection (ISP issues). I double clicke
