The scorpion event describe them as insects. Scorpions are not insects.

Looks like someone forgot to finish their job… I will translate it right here if you can trust a random guy on the net. You can google translate it back to check if I didn't sabotage it, it couldn't really be worse anyway. I'll make it in the format of the SDCR64.ini [fr] Exist = 1 " Take me to known issues and possible solutions"=" Proposez-moi des solutions possibles aux problèmes connus" "Submit"="Soumettre" " Do not show thi
You certainly meant one year and three months. [e digicons]:)[/e]
Ho my, how time flies![e digicons][/e]
I had the same bug just now… It's sad that the bug was still not fixed three months and a few patches later. One thing that I don't understand, though… If it is just a display bug, why is it that nether the zone of control nor the tourism income grow when activating the artifact (and waiting a 🤔 turn)? I've gone from 1340 influence to 2340, shouldn't it be enough to grow it? Is it actually just a display bug? I wish there was more info on how influence works on
Thank you, I will check that out.
Found a typo in one of the starting events text. It can be changed in "data/English/Text/StartingEventsText.xml", line 72 :"Look at it sensor log" instead of "its sensor log".
In the espionage screen, when removing a spy from a civilization, trying to use drag&drop will make the spy disappear from where it was but will not add it to the counter espionage pool. In reality, the spy is still where it was, but is just not displayed any more. Sneaky spies!
Thank you. Nothing for now!
No one? This is a significant bug. I found where it seem to lie, in "data/Game/IdeologicalGalacticEventDefs.xml", line 307 Do I have to mod it myself?
The benevolent choice speaks about a 10% lower income and a 15% morale boost. It would have been quite costly already, but I actually get only 5% morale boost. We need this fixed.
Thank you both for your answers. I'll produce a proper savegame and submit a ticket, unless the bug goes away.
Played about 41 hours until some humans invaded one of my undefended planets. The invader turn never ends. The planet does not change allegiance. I cannot save or even load, barely exit the game (to desktop only), and can navigate menus. it was the first time I was ever involved in an invasion. This is extremely frustrating. I'd like to finish this game. I don't dare to start a new one by fear I would get this bug again, although I can't find anyone having complaining of such a bug in years.<
About the crashes you get : In a modern operating system (like windows or Linux, if you didn't know what it means), a standard program cannot accidentally reboot the computer. What can is either a hardware failure, a system bug (quite rare on most configurations) and driver crash. So if you have those and you didn't do it yet, my advice is to update all your drivers, especially the video drivers and the sound drivers (as you get sound bugs). Moreover, ATI is a specialist of half teste
I think the problem you're speaking about is the "click" bug, where the tile where you click is not the one the game think you clicked... I suggest you try to move the camera around and try a number of times, and try to click around the escape square before to give up. This problem evolved over the versions and the tactical battles are the place from where the problem appear the least, and the escape is the main click problem in this mode. It appears a lot in the main view, espec
About the journeyman boots... I suppose you are speaking about the journeyman cloak (as I know only about traveler's boots). I reported this here , and was given a workaround. I didn't try it yet, though, as it seem you need to start a new game before it is taken in account. Defending towers seems a good idea to me, and you're right, the current way is a little too much abstract: If you can understand its effects inte
Thanks for the workaround. It seems like the current games are not changed by the correction, I suppose it is normal... The game took two minutes to load after I did it, too. There was a buzy "datazip.exe" process that let me guess why... Too bad it is neither multithreaded nor incremental... I will test it when I start a new game, I guess...
This is a very simple, and very old one: one minute to find the line, and five seconds to fix it; in the shop, select the inventory, and click the "next champion" button: the inventory shown is still the one of first champion.
One of my settlements was invaded by a bandits just the turn the town finished building. I was still proposed if I wanted to give new orders. Out of curiousity, I accepted, and I could probably have built something if I had clicked... But I chose not to risk a CTD.
I suppose it was not intended... I saw there was issues with some traits and these cloaks, but in my game, no matter the traits, the women won't wear them. Maybe the color doesn't fit the pretties... [e digicons][/e]
I finaly reported the search button bug in the "forum issues" category. I was not the first one, but the previous one seem to have been lost or something.
The search button does nothing when trying to use it from a sub-thread, like https://forums.elementalgame.com/forum/877 (firefox 3.6.3, windows 7 64 bits)
Well, Fistalis, sorry about the repeating, I usually read most changelogs but this one is so uge... I'm sorry if my tone was a little to accusing, too, I am in one of these moods... Well, I should have waited it to change before to post that kind of things... For firefox, I just retested it, and it worked. Some problems with google, perhaps, as I had problems with google in the past (there are a lot of DNS in France that don't list google properly, god knows why). I'm sorry if
The game is much, much better with the 1.1, good job. But there are still things that could be change for very little cost and have a big impact on the enjoyment... The first one is not about the game... The "search" button in the forum window does nothing... ( https://forums.elementalgame.com/forum/877 ) ; I'm using firefox 3.6.3.. So, I'm sorry if I repeat something that is often told... While I told some of these myself
Very nice ideas ! [e digicons]k1[/e]
I forgot to say, about the AI: Don't make it like galciv 2 in the area of warfare: all you had to do was ignore the others factions while researching whatever strengthen your research and economy, and once far ahead, research warfare and crush them... As a global rule in any strategic game, building an army and not using it quickly is a waste of resources... And also, I'm waiting for potions and scrolls crafting : you should never see any fantasy world without these...
