ill have to re-upload it but when i do Ill post a second version of it that is totally merg ready and has by coincedence Manshooters explosions and balknights graphics mod incorperated... its very handy when you merg it with other mods that do not contain any of the others like ohhh. soa23c and many others im also doing my own version of bsg i have all the capital ships and fighters done except for the textures but i have basic ones in place and its playable and fun! the reason im doing

there is a tool and it is very easy to use in xsi. in the top menu bar whn ou have xsi open and with your model selected ((you know its selected if its white.)) there is a text button called modes... click it and you should see theree modes i use the modtool layout as i find it handy but to do this you need to have the second one selected called XSI DEFAULT (pro mode) once youve done that and there is a huge pointer in the upper right hand corner with a button

i was just messing with your texture in xsi and the only problem i have with it is that your poles are getting some pinching when applied with the uv's i would recoment you ake the polar caps bigger or make them ocean so that the terrain doesnt look so badly... other than that tiny problem it looks really good in xsi. the only thing i can think of is if you can do a top and bottom shot in the program you created the image in and we can use a second and even a thir textu

I recently did very much the same thing only with planets and moons. if you are not adverse to the idea maybe we could merge the two ideas? mine is more a merge of other small mods besides sins plus into one nice mod and a few size and other tweeks by me, but its eminently mergable took me 15 min to merge it wiyh soa2 v0.3b. ( only took so long cuse I fogot a few files ) ds

well I hope you folks like this "merge" of some great mods so far, Its been d/l about 20 times so far but no one has commented soI guess you like it and have no complaints yet... ( crosses fingers ). I was messing around and finally got around to removing a few small errors it had been trowing nothing youd notice if you dont play with error notification on and it didnt effect game play but it bugged me because it meant there was a problem somwhere. <

hmm what version sins are you running and what mods, also as I just sugested with someone else to make sure when moding you dont hit return and leave a space anywhere because that will definatly thow an error. ds

well without seeing the minidump file its imposible to say with any conviction but I would suggest you look over what you did and make sure you didnt hit return somwhere or drop a decimal. good luck ds

well im sorry to say I have no clue but that I too share this interest... not for you reasons byt because I want to be able to texture a moon properly, I have been able to incorperate moons into any mod but they look terrible at best. my question is if a planet can have resourse asteroids and other space rock debries that looks good why is there a problem with rendering something that looks good as a planet but so horrid as a moon? <
