but if the single player side of Sins (the diplo and the AI) don't receive sufficient attention then there's really no reason for me to continue buying Ironclad's products. I have no use for developers that neglect SP gamers. The amusing thing is that a good number of MP folks complain about the opposite - that it's only the SP crowd that's getting attention, and not them.Who's right? Neither. Then both sides are unhappy, what do I care? All I care about is whether the SP game is fun to p
- LAN supported multiplay. (extra high marks for this)Not that I disagree with the post but on this point, who, especially in the RTS category, has 'not' supported LAN play?
HellgateLondon is the first one that comes to mind. It has been whispered here and there that this was going to be a more standardized practice usually to deter pirating, so I was glad to see it included in this game and my buddy and I fired it up and played without a problem this past weekend.<br/
Just because this game isn't for you doesn't make this a bad game or 'needing months of work' to get better. And just because you do like it doesn't mean it's a great game that everyone will enjoy and that it's perfect and needs no further work. Opinion is just that. For my part, I bought it, I'm stuck with it (because Stardock's registration system is such that I can't legitimately sell it) so there's nothing for me to do but try to get the parts of the game that are poor (the AI, the d

I've been a long time fan of good strategy based games, the most fond memories being of the Heroes Of Might And Magic series (with some noteable exceptions). Until now I haven't found a single game that could hold a candle to them in approachability and immersive fun. This game took me by surprise because I HATE RTS games that are nothing but click fests, but in this game I have found a wonderful game that makes RTS an approachable medium filled with strategy and fun.
So you're saying that no one in the world can play SoaSE because you have issues?Yes, if you looked at other threads, I am hardly the only one with this problem. Running the game on a high-end gaming computer, there is no reason the game should be crashing. You try playing a game, you pay $40 on, for over 4hrs just for it to continuously mini-dump every time you get to a particular point in the game. And this has happened for every game I have begun. This problem makes playing multiplayer
I should add that, considering its admirable level of post-release support, Sins may be worth another look a few months down the road. I wouldn't buy it now, though.
Just because this game isn't for you doesn't make this a bad game or 'needing months of work' to get better. It's gotten high marks from all gaming sites, and deservedly so. I bought it, love it, and talked my two friends into getting it and they love it too. It's a great 'new feeling' game as it's

I love these posts - where the users crappy computer is somehow the developers fault. Installed and playing without any issues on my computer, my best friends computer, and another friends computer last night that I suggested he buy this game. It's well written, engaging, and a very well coded game.
