Ok the best solution i can come up with for the problems im having. 1. i will be shorting the campaing by about 10 missions. this is due to the fact that everytime i do an update i have to redo the saved game/mission file. and im not doing that 45 times every time. 2. the next update will add both the ACU and THE ORDER so you wont have to double download. this means a longer wait but less pain. 3. whenever you download an update this means that saved game files wont wo

there are 2 ways to do it i used cap ships entity files but you can use frigate files but you must change levels to TRUE and also you have to set where the levels come from and they are limited to only 3. I made legion ships level because of the story they are supposed to be elite troops it makes sense they would level.

go into new games and see if you can start one of the mission maps. the saved gaves are saying invalid because of a checksum issue if you have entrenchment. i am working on fixing that issue somehow
ok so i just relized a problem i should have forseen. because saved gaves are linked to a checksum of a mod every time i update it will invalidate saved games. while this is not a huge problem for me it could cause confusion for people playing the mod. Therefor i will limit updates to only major times and not do minor updates. In addition initialy the download will be a version number with a "T" at the end this stands for Test. this download will be for testing purposes making sure there are
ok just a quick update on what to expect with the Order faction first they are a rouge faction, meaning they have limited access to military hardware. because of this they will have very limited ship choices but modified to be much stronger then normal. second due to thier limitations on acces they do not use shield or fighters. this is compansated for by much higher hull / armor count. Im certian this will take testing to get balance right. major ships to expect:

ok well just an update on whats going on. been working on the order as they are the second faction that gets introduced in the story. Got the Kamakazee ships working pretty good. and im trying to tweek the "Voice of the faithfull" which is a ship that transports suicide bombers to an enemy ship to sabatoge them bypassing shields. also working on the orders capital ship as they only get 1 i want it to be right. its 1.1x not entrenchment i made mines through modding
the mod is in beta and is 65mb which zips to less the 15 megs. this mod could easily hit the 500 meg mark or go over it. if you dont zip it you cant get it hosted cause it will be to big. www.winace.com its free

it should be pointed out that 7 deadly sins is only compatible with 1.5 version there is also a startrek mod that works with 1.1x called sacrifice of angels. and my mod is in beta and works with 1.1x its the Campaign mod but to be honest its beta and you might be better off with another right now

ok well been making alot of adjustments adding some new ships mostly all is left for demo is mapmaking should be released later today or tomorrow. some legion ships will be left out due to bugs and the other new factions will be held tlll later versions
actualy i said why is everyone so excited about mines so my statement was correct i didnt specify entrenchment mines and if you want to make it a bit harder you can also use a squad entity instead of a frigite they will be harder to hit. anyone that can hit a moving fighter can hit a mine anyways. though i have made 1 mine that actualy phases out till it detonates so cant hit that one
what neat things can these mines do that you cant make now and let me explain how i made mines for my upcoming mod. use a modifed version of the final attack ability so that it auto attacks anything in range and reduce range. give that ability to a frigite entity. modify that frigite entity to have a max speed of zero and change its mesh and effects to something apropriate. then copy and modify a drop ability like the sova carriers drop missle batteries or somethin so t
