My first thought is that the problem with the picture is that someone is playing as yellow instead of the correct dark green. But you're right, the TAR issue is a pretty significant problem too.

Console games also don't tend to have sale prices very often, and they disappear from store shelves due to limited space or when the number of copies pressed simply runs out (a lot of translated Jap

Oh, you brought a fleet against it? Yeah, bad idea. Nanoleech is the ability, and it basically life drains targets with no cap. More ships to drain? More power. Once the opposing fleet gets to a certain size the ship is literally unkillable so long as it can use that ability. Pair it up with a mobile Orky and it's fun times.

It's a single threaded game, CPU single core speed is king. That said, what you want to play is going to lag no matter what hardware you throw at it if the game goes on long enough. The engine simply can't handle it anymore.

Yes, they're still officially alpha, but in the development breakdown they claim to be pretty much done with every aspect of the game with the bulk of the remaing work being debugging and balancing. Granted, those two things can take quite a bit of time, but not necessarily. Either way, the game is quite far along at this point and really, the

Everyone who yells "it's beta!" does realize that it won't be beta in 7 days, right? Your optimism that this will all be totally fixed by then without another beta release is not very realistic, based on all the betas I've been in.

Considering how absurdly imbalanced SP is right now too, yeah I think it'd be worth reading some posts on the subject. I mean sure it's easier to get away with in SP because the AI isn't very bright, but it really shouldn't be easy mode just because you picked Vasari. :P

That's the image of Pinkie Pie that was used by one of the people who hacked Chrome during Google's last contest. It's called "Hacking Pinkie Pie", because she's going to go hack stuff up with that axe. :)
