How would I disable autocast?

I was playing and used that Novalith(?) Cannon for the first time. But I couldn't get it to fire at the planet I wanted it to. It just spun around and fired at random planets. How do you direct the shots?
Does anyone think about that rotating tank from Wild Wild West when you think of the Kol? Ha ha.
The Kol for me, by far. It just spins around and deals out punishment from all sides. It can also take quite a few hits as well.
Will this also include a fix for the minidump and crashes with the Nvidia cards? I haven't been able to play much thanks to school so I don't know how significant these changes are. All I care about are the minidumps.
Yeah but the AI just attacks randomly. It's impossible to tell where they will attack.
One problem that I'm having with this game is hit and runs from the enemy. Basically, I'd keep a lot of my forces at my star. The enemy would phase jump in and, with my fleet being idiots, wouldn't really hurt them. Then, they'd phase jump to a planet, bomb it and run away with my fleet still behind them. Any helpful tips? I'm new.
I'm not happy at all. I have my fleet for defense at the star and they just jump where ever they want without my fleet even touching them.
Okay, next question: how do I travel to other solar systems? There are like 4 right now and I can't seem to leave the one I'm in right now.
Hey guys, noob at Sins here. Anyone know how to trade through the black market? I often find myself with lots of credits and metal but no crystal.

When it comes to the 7 series, it seems as though the crashes occur because of it putting strain on the graphics cards. I have a 7900GTX and mine would crash within 5 minutes (despite running very smooth), now it hasn't crashed at all. I turned down the effects, put the detail on medium or high, and put it on the lowest resolution. You can just play with that until a fix is released.
All I know is that the way to avoid them is to take strain off of the graphics card. Try to lower the resolution or take down the effects to high or medium.

Clean up the disc. Maybe it's dirty and that may be the reason as to why it doesn't load up. Or maybe even a scratch. Sorry if it has already been mentioned, I'm just trying to think of solutions. I understand the frustration of wanting to play a game that won't even load up.
Try lowering your resolution. I tried to put the game on the highest resolution it could and it would eventually crash within 5 minutes (despite it running smooth the whole time). I lowered it to the lowest resolution and I haven't got a minidump yet.
I have the same problem as well. I meet well beyond the recommend requirements. Right now, I'm uninstalling and reinstalling the game. An interesting note is that the freeze, for me anyway, is time based. It will freeze up after playing it for 5 minutes.
