That's wierd... I see the colonization buttons... maybe you're just looking in the wrong spot? What race are you playing as? I can tell you without opening the game if it has that research in it. Try to look in the mod file, then your race (player[name of race]). If it's BIN'ed, though, no idea what to tell you.
Don't forget that changing versions also deletes your profiles, but that's easy enough to mod back in. I just can't remember the name of the file right now.

Hmm... Your disc won't show up at all... Make sure you have "show hidden files" enabled. Other than that, I can't say anything. I've never encountered that, and I'm a Vista user (c'mon windows 7).

But assuming you got the Impulse copy, you're pretty much dead until we get to 1.12 or 1.13 or whatever it's going to be. Unless there's some method I don't know about, of course. I don't use Impulse except for Entrenchment, so I'm not too sure.

If you try to load the mod with anything BUT 1.05, you will crash.

So We didn't play the mod... I got in a game while waiting, and he joined. I got pwned about five minutes in. Ok. extremely cheap, but Good tactics though... Couldn't counter fighters: LRM's Pwned my garda's. Couldn't kill LRM's: Fighters killed mine before they got there. Hat off to Xavior and Athilis.
