Gehh...I hate ports and all associated with..!! in Sins Multiplayer Sins Forums

Okay so I'm a total n00b when it comes to ports and DNS UDP..TCIP ...http and all that goodness. I just want to play LAN with a friend in the next room..THough I've spent the better 4 hours trying to do that...Were both firewalled, though I have Windows XP (Sygate personal firewall), and my friend has a Vista comp with (PC-CILLIN firewall)...He also runs a wireless linkup to a wireless receiver which is hooked to a router which is then ran to a gateway which then runs to the cable jack
