RPGs for me. Sins was my first kick at the Strategy can, and it's made a very good impression, so I picked up Gal Civ 2 and got a deal on Supreme Commander, so I bought that as well. I agree with Marlowe. A furter complaint about the quote button is it does not keep line breaks and paragraphs. The post you quote is just one run-on block of text. As well, I'd like to see the 'recent posts' section on the front page show the name of the person that last posted. I don't know how it works out in multiplayer, but in single player on a multistar map, but the time you're taking planets in other star systems, I have to figure you can afford to just build Novaliths in the new star systems. That way it doesn't take forever to nuke your target. Anyway, it's what I've done when playing multistar maps.

I watch very little television, but I did quite enjoy Firefly, despite its flaws. If I have to pick a show I'd like to see 'uncancelled', it would probably be that. I might actually be motivated to sit in front of the tv if they put it back on the air.

What video driver are you using? Maybe try to roll back to an earlier version, or if you're not using the latest driver, then install it and see if that helps.

There's an announcement on spore.com dated May 9th that says they're basically doing the same thing as with Mass Effect: removing the recurring 10 day authentication requirement. But don't be fooled. The DRM is still in. You still must activate your game. The activation is still tied to your hardware profile. You still only get 3 activations (with mass Effect. No clarification on whether you're restricted to three activations for Spore, but I'm betting it's the same). You still have to

I'm not disputing your points, as I've read pretty much the same thing, but if memory serves, those statistics are not including digital sales, only retail sales figures. So it's slightly misleading. Still though, PC gaming is a niche market. But it's a niche I'm comfortable being a part of and when (or if) it dies out, I'll probably stop gaming.
