You can't manually upgrade their levels with credits, you have to gain experience points for them.
They're just like capital ships...gain experience...(unless you're trolling, in that case, try harder)
Only time I saw a capital ship or whatever just sitting somewhere regardless of health is when the AI has been defeated, but yeah...a couple of nights ago I just encountered the whole scout ships thing. You know, find a home planet at some point with 30 or so scout ships in the corner. xD Also, AIs that you're allied with suck at taking order requests... *orders AI who has a massive fleet to protect your planet that's under attacked and your fleet won't reach it in
I never really bothered with naming since I play SP all the time. One thing is for certain, though, if I did name them I can guarantee ou they will all be retarded/goofy names. :p
Also, make sure you have updated, because 1.03 had some serious crash issues that 1.04 fixes.
...What about the manifest file?...Does the mod use that? >.> EDIT: Also, Rebellion starts crashing after deleting that folder...

Maybe permanently decrease the culture rate of nearby planets? (and I guess SOME damage to ships and all, but I kinda figured it could damage culture instead) EDIT: Will this work with Rebellion's 1.04 update? >.>
Hey was wondering while waiting for the next update, wanting to try out this other mod, but it seems like it may have issues with other mods that edit the entity.manifest file. (its the Rebalanced Races mod btw)
Might look into this...though I saw that it may not work well with other mods. (waiting on an update from the other one I'm using anyways) I hope the devs take in the Starbase and DE changes here. :p I didn't see it in the first post, but was there anything done with that stupid TEC cannon? >.> I mean its great and all, but its kinda irritating when you just colonize a planet and get bombed yet again, making it pointless to even try again.
Actually I noticed this too...happened when I was playing as the Advent, no clue what's causing it.

I'm fine with $30 really...you get titans, corvettes, new capital ships, unique abilities for the loyalists and rebels. That and I'm enjoying the new visuals and dynamic shadows. xD
Dunno about this, but I noticed early in the game, when the ship spawned another swarm in general, the last one was destroyed. Maybe that's what's happening? Or are you able to have unlimited amounts of swarms?
That's it then, I have allied victory on and made allies and whatever...started a new game with it on too, ah well. xD Least I know now.
So, um, how do you deal with these? Do they all have to be against you, like a 4 against 1 deal? Played a FFA game with 5 hard AIs and have no achievements unlocked. (also, does it matter what strategy I have them set on?)
