EDIT: Ugh, delete this plaease...so internet glitch caused a double post...

Wow, haven't been on these forums in a while...wait...DEADLER PIRATES?! They're just as annoying already, lol. Whatever, when is this coming out anyway?
I'm not entirely sure if the "ping" thing works on allied CPUs, but if it doesn't I was thinking maybe there could be a command to tell your CPU ally/s that you're under attack and need help. I rarely would need help but there are times when an unexpected (and huge) attacking fleet attacks one of my planets and destroys everything. (and actually from my last game, pirates then cam right after them...so I had two attacking fleets. XD)

Ah...so it wasn't the camera...I was playing as TEC and had mine in the back somewhere thinking it would move too. XD
I just bought Entrenchment today and decided to play some of it, during my game I encounteredan enemy star base for the first time. My fleet was small and immediately escaped, but while doing so it looked like the base was MOVING...as in coming towards my ships. I'm not sure if it was just the camera or whatever, when I did build one of my own I wasn't able to move it...and it just sat there while my planet was attacked. (my guess is that they don't move and act like a super huge giant turret
Alright, I know I'm a bit impantient sometimes but...WHEN'S 1.1 COMING OUT!?!?! lol
...From the looks of things (and my internet issues and stuff) I think I'm going to pass on the beta this time. My internet is kinda slow anyways...I know its kinda early but do you know when the final version will be out?
Guess you guys don't know right now then...lol Ah well, I'll keep an eye out on this thread.
Ohh it would be cool if we could edit the names of our capital ships.... You mean like the Rename button for planets and capital ships?
I'm going to guess and say that he means ships' other names...like the Dreadnought or Kol Battleship or whatever...if not then oh well. Anyways, Stardock...it's mid-July...WHERE'S THE UPDATE?!?! lol
...Yeah I'm all ready to try out this beta. Wait a minute no I'm not!! *goes to finish up game*
EDIT 2: lol, I got them mixed up...I don't know what the problem is, my RAM is 2 GB and the processor is 2.4. I run the game's settings all on highest and it runs perfectly (except in large battles).
Just found out about this Impulse and the auto-update thing...These updates won't corrupt saved games will they? Or will there be like an option to updating in case you're still in the middle a game...sometimes the games in Sins are long, lol.
I see a lot of blank spots, we can to it I assume?
i can't open the files, they're "unknown", that's what I'm talking about. I get nowhere from opening them.
I don't get it...what do you do with those files? (Like I said, I don't mod at all or edit games like these. So I'm lost)
Ok I posted a thread about this in the General board and they told me to look here...so... How do you add in your own portraits/pics or whatever you want to call them? Oh, and is it possible to rename a faction to whatever you want? I'm not that good at modding so help me out here... EDIT: Does anyone take...uh, "Ship Making" (is that right?...Yeah, let's go with that) requests? If you do, let me know...
Click on the icon of the magnetic / plasma storm, or even some asteroid fields or space junks, and in the 'button area', there should be an icon. Mouseover it to see what it does. For what it's worth, Plasma Storms are supposed to disable strikecraft from launching (though mine still seem to do it), and Magnetic Storms disable antimatter from being used (or maybe it's the other way around).Asteroids of Space Junks sometimes cause a 20% chance to hit penalty.
Oh...I didn't
I just found out that you can rename the planets under your control (and the Capital Ships as well). Its not that big of a deal, but I thought it would be cool to rename the faction for a game. I did hear you can do that and upload your own pic into the game with some program but I'm not really good with that kind of stuff. Just thought maybe that could happen, unless someone would like to run me through on how to do this... Now for the question...What exactly do those plasma/magnetic sto
My eyes!!!! My eye-...I wonder if they would actually put them in, lol. What would their ships be like? :p
Hmmmm...The whole idea of a Sins Expansion will be trashed?...(just kidding, lol) I say, a program that allows you to create your own race/ships/whatever! (that would be awesomeness!)
Nope, all I have is Galatic Battlegrounds (and Sins of course), but it suddenly stopped working mysteriously...ah well, that's why I got Sins anyway, lol.
Oh, I guess I'm getting expansions mixed up with something else then, lol. And what IS with that achievement with the name "Space Ponies"?! It doesn't even tell you what to do!
So I just read over at IGN that a new Expansion has been announced and all that...I just bought this game and now finding out that an expansion (which contains new factions, campaign mode, etc.) is coming out later this year. I hate it when this happens...I don't care much for story modes or whatever in these types of games, but is it possible to give out the new races via update to those who already bought regular game? (this is like so unfair, lol) P.S: I'm new here, so if I p
