Anyone? :( I have tomorrow off and was hoping to play a game...

Since my other question wasn't answered in the other thread, figured I would post it here. 1. I have a dual-core processor, and figured out how to put Sins on one core and put everything else on the other. My question was about if I should put everything, as in all these System programs (like System and these other random stuff like "csrss.exe and "svchost.exe") stuff as well, on a core. It seems like there's a lot of processes that seem important and I don't want to sc
Anyone?...lol sorry, but yeah I wanna know this before actually trying it, don't want to mess my computer up.
I guess I could try it out...I have an ok computer spec-wise so, yeah. I'll try anything to get rid of those annoying white dots.
Or something like they start out weak and as your fleet and defenses grow so does the pirate's fleet and raids. And have it where they would pay no attention to you at all if you have no defenses or fleets...
Figured I'll make sure before doing this, seeing how my computer is SLOW after exiting out of the game for a minute or two. So it shouldn't mess the computer up if I assign EVERYTHING to CPU #1 (like, there are SYSTEM programs and whatnot...and there's also System Idle) while Sins takes over CPU #2 right? Or is there some things that i should just leave alone.
EDIT: Ugh, some weird lag glitch...post wouldn't show up after submitting the first. >_>
I'm scared to even know what female Vasari looks like. XD
Yeah I don't really want to mod either...lol. Well sometimes there's like 3 or 4 sword icons so, can they go after multiple targets when raiding? I thought it was just a one target thing.
Erm....what? o_0
I use them mainly because they put the crystal and metal upgrade into one, making it easier to upgrade the extract rates. And then there's that Wreckage Salvage (forget what's its called exactly), love that one...Oh, and uh...MOVING STARBASE!!! XD
Yeah I did update Diplomacy and notice they were toned down a bit, but were still a pain in the ass. Not to mention I hate how the other factions place bounty on me the SECOND the pirates head out, making it harder for me to tell if they're after me or not.
I think I'm just going to stop playing with them now, they easily wipe my frigates out early in the game even. And I get stacked with raids unknowingly and I just can't deal with them, before I had no trouble with them but now with Diplomacy I cannot even enjoy the game with them on now. Just thought if there was an easier way to keep them out of my way until I have the power to destroy their planet, since everything I tried doesn't seem to work. >_> (I play as th
NVIDIA GeForce 9500, I've tried messing with the settings on the CP and couldn't find a better solution than the turning off AA.
I don't even think SSAA works for me... :(
That's odd...my specs are lower than you guys...yet medium maps seem to go smoothly for me.
I'll just stick with having AA turned off for right now, lol.
Well NVIDIA told me its most likely a game issue when I was getting help from them as well...so...not sure what the deal is since Stardock and NVIDIA is having trouble with this...
I don't think the Supersampling thing will work...well, I dunno, doesn't work for me. :(
Well, just wanted to be sure, because I got the message that it may cause system instability...so...yeeeeaaaah. None of my other prgrams are using up either CPUs either, so I dunno if I'll do it anyways...
Hey...I have an option on my graphics control panel "Threaded Optimization", how does that work or will work with performance? I kinda figured since Sins is single threaded that this would force it to use multiple threads or something, lol. And how should I do this "set game to one CPU" thing...
How do you do that anyway, I need to try that out sometime when I solve this "white dots" issue.
....Lower graphic settings? lol
It could also depend on the card itself, as my old GeForce 7600 didn't have this problem. Even so, NVIDIA said that it could be the game and not the card. Seems confusing I know, lol...
Surprised this was revived, but yeah I've been talking with Stardock about the problem...like Psugar said though we're not having much luck solving it yet. (the suggestion that he gave was emailed to me by Paul too (the guy from Stardock helping me), it didn't work for me sadly...) EDIT: ....And my avatar disappeared!!! Waaaah! lol Er...nevermind, its back again, lol.
