I don't know what's causing them, but in the past my Sins game would play perfectly fine...until Rebellion came out...ON STEAM. I don't know what's going on, but I'm blaming Steam, lol. >_> EDIT: About the Auto-Saves, do I just reload my save file that I saved manually before? Or will it just load up the last manual save?

It does to me, don't know about everyone else...is it a type of behavior? Because I have always fought AIs at "Normal" with the behaviors set to random.

For me it seems like several tend to die (or give up) easily somewhere early on in the game. (not too early, but when compared to the full game) It also tends to happen to the factions that I have a chance at allying with as well. :/ Does it also seem that the Normal difficulty tends to be harder than usual? Sometimes I do ok, but other times they just somehow quickly own half the map and crush me easily....WTF? (not to mention some AIs still like to gang up on

I'm messing with the Advent myself. (though I'm liking the Loyalists more) For me, I usually capture several planets and try to build up defenses first...until at least I can build Starbases. And the way I set up my defenses, it makes it very hard for any fleet to take them out. (honestly I don't know if difficulty levels affect ship's attack power or not, usually play on Normal until I find my best faction) But a planet of mine invaded one of my planets with a full fleet and

And I've noticed glitches with Kostura's effect after getting bombed by them a bunch of times. (having stuff like labs and "culture towers" getting disabled

Using the pirates can be an effective strategy in multi-star systems.
Yeah I know, was joking around really. xD So basically, this thread is really complaining about one other thing...THOSE STUPID CANNONS! T_T

(I dunno if this happens with the Advent or TEC though) But the cannon turning sound continues to play after it has already turned and fired its shot.

...Thought this was my thread for a moment...I'm having mouse issues as well, yet no one wants to help. They just said to get a new mouse. :/

Is it just me? Or does the mouse controls seem to be screwy in this game? Sometimes when right-clicking ONCE, it may take it as a double-click....which can be annoying sometimes. Another good example is when using the mouse wheel to zoom in/out, the zooming, uh, flickers? (you try to zoom out once and it zooms back in) Just thought I would point this out, and yes my mouse works perfectly fine elsewhere. :p

I was playing as Vasari Rebels, couldn't tell which faction the other Vasari were, most likely Loyalists. And yeah that's the first thing I did was to check all my other structures to ensure they weren't destroyed and/or disabled. They were all fine though, but still wasn't able to re-enable my research level until I scuttled the once-disabled structures and rebuilt them. EDIT: Maybe the bug was randomly caused by the same cannon firing at my planet twice in a row. (no

...Anyways, basically the "Abilities Disabled" deal on the structures would disappear normally, but the research structures would sill be disabled, and my research would go down a few levels. (like with ships I wouldn't be able to build them anymore) Just anted to point this out to see if they can fix this in a patch, it seems to happen at random.
the disable lasts for a long time. 300 seconds iirc.
I know, but when the effect is gone, like I said, it permanently disables the research structures.

Something I noticed, an AI Vasari fired its cannon which disabled all structures. Obviously this is normal, but when it fired it a second time, it seemed to permanently disabled my research labs...the other structures seemed to work, but I had to scuttle and rebuild the research structures. :/
