I, too, would pay a handsome sum if you could do that to a friend of mine, with the tweak that it dumps when he chooses Vasari(he never plays any other race). I can see it now: Me: "What does the mini dump say?" Him: ".........'Error:Try another faction, moron, you paid for all three.'"
priceless...just priceless.

Hey Dorian, I forwarded this on to the guys running the group for their perusal. You may be hearing from one of them soon. It would either be Aaron (mystic) or Accip. Anyone else that would be interested, let us know. Spydyr
This said, I love the game. Best I've ever played.
I must say, for such a simple line, "Best game I've ever played," it sure packs a whole olot of meaning. And I must agree with it 100%.
the thing with 3v3 and even 2v2 is that you have lots of people trying to coordinate with each other to find a time that is agree-able. When most of those people are in different time zones, it makes it even harder. Your best bet, IMHO, is to go with a 1v1 only, set up a double elimination type bracket, set deadlines for each map and have all correspondance for setting up game times for each match be on 1 thread. That way you can track who actually tried to make the match.
I run everything on the highest settings possible, everything enabled, anti-aliasing set to none, and resolution set to 1680 x 1050. I have no problems at all, never bogs down, and runs like a charm. Here are my specs... Intel® Core™2 E8400 (6MB,3.0 GHz, 1333FSB) Vista® Home Premium Edition SP1, 64-Bit 4GB Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM at 800MHz - 4 DIMMs (using all of it) SLi, Dual nVidia GeForce 9800GT 512MB 500GB - 7200RPM, SATA 3
Yes, the Vas Superweapon really comes into play in large maps...especially across multiple stars.
I still think that TDN stands for "The Dorkiest Nerds"

plus, now in Entrenchment, you also get the temp PS. And as many have mentioned earlier, you can now effectively bypass all set defenses on the outer lines.
I was crashing in 2.0 with all settings on high...played on 2.5 last night with all settings to high for about 3 or so hours and no crashes
yeah, they are handling the releases in the right manner too. Would rather have all of the smaller issues and bags/balances worked out BEFORE release, not after in patches. [e digicons]5*[/e]
2nd micro expansion? And here i was worried a bit about the future of Sins due to economics...yea kinda dumb i know ..sorry.(what..all kinds of titles and such have been discontinued by other publishers due to all this...money issue ..stuff.) Ill have to wait a bit longer to get into the beta but the more i read from you testers and moderators the more i want to join in.
Well, one way to get around all of the $$$
there were some small things done, but nothing like the Kos...you would need to talk with someone that plays those races and ask them the exacts though.
yup...and it can be a game killer. It definitely makes the Vas a lot stronger in a longer game and on a larger map...especially a map with multiple star systems.
Very nice.
or Razor Death Adder - best mouse on the market If you need the front end VERY light like me. I have went through many mice but always come back to this one - in fact im going to buy a new one soon. If you play fps games this wont be beaten - unless you play me then you will be beaten...
I made a reference to this mouse in post #8. It is the mouse that I current
that is a nice looking mouse...and I like all of the specs...the Roccat, that is.
And if you had a fleet there already that was a created fleet, then your summoned ships will automatically join that fleet and fly to them. An important point, when using the 2nd level of RA...make sure you have at least 100 open fleet capacity (for each one that you use).
Actually Spaghetti, with the new expansion, the Kostura gives the Vas a virtual PS for a couple of minutes after the cannon fires. In essence, I can fire the cannon at your homeworld and it opens a phase lane to your homeworld for 2 minutes, where I can send in a fleet to effectively bypass all of your set up choke points and defenses. It is something that a lot of people believes makes the Kos way to over-powering. I agree with that and I play the Vas exclusively.
Both Anny and Char are correct. Once you have bought the game (and subsequent license) through Impulse, everything is tied to your Account on Impulse, no to which PC you have the game loaded on at that point in time. You will be fine and since you are running DSL, you really won't have any problems downloading either. This is true with both SoaSE and GC2. I own both through Impulse. I also have loaded both SoaSE and GC2 on my desktop (XPS) and on my laptop (XPS
Yes, that is obvious (a fully researched military tree will make the enforcers damn near un-beatable). I had a fleet of about 40 enforcers, 10-15 carriers, an egg, 2 devastators, and 1 skirantra that took out a fully loaded TEC fleet. Don't remember his exact numbers...but was something like 6 or 7 caps, about 30 carriers, about 15 robotics, about 25 LRMs, about 10 command centers, and about 30 or so Kodiaks. When the battle was finished, he lost everything
let's just face it...you're an oddball that likes to use the trackball. LOL!! [e digicons]:-"[/e] [e digicons];)[/e] [e digicons][/e]
Plus, you can get ship types that you haven't even researched yet by using the RA ability.
