here was one of my posts in that thread... This is usually the case in larger maps. Once you have it researched to level 2, you get 7-10 ships per use. Usually I get 4-5 Ska Enforcers and 2-3 Lan Carriers. Let's add those prices up. for each Ska Enf it costs 150 met/110 cry and for each Carrier it costs 160 met/140 cry. So, if I get 4 enf and 3 carriers, that is a total of 1080 metal and 860 crystal for each one bought seperately. By using R

check out this thread...this has already been discussed and there are some good points in this thread. https://forums.sinsofasolarempire.com/334551 RA is still a great thing to use, depending on what type of game you are playing, the map size, and what your ultimate strat is.
If you buy them through Impulse you can install them on all of your computers without ever having to find a disc. So unless you don't have broadband, I'd personally recommend the digital download. For me it's very convenient, makes it easy to install and find updates. Plus you can purchase it immediately, and more money goes to the developer, and less to places like Wal-Mart
This is 100% true, when
Both games are fantastic and again it comes down to what you are looking for right now. RTS or TBS. RTS, go Sins...TBS, go GC2. Both have their advantages and both are great games in their own rights. And Sins is getting better and better as time goes on. Entrenchment whould be live around Feb 11, and they are already working on the 2nd micro-expansion. I love both games and own both games as well. When the time is right for you, I would definitel
I used to play with the G9 and it is a great mouse...however, when I bought my newest mouse, I wanted to try something different. I went with the Razer Deathadder. http://www.razerzone.com/p-69-razer-deathadder-gaming-mouse.aspx This is an exceptional mouse, and I must say that I like it even better than the G9...which is saying a lot. It has a 3G infrared laser which allows for quicker

Geowil makes an excellent point...I still play some very old games because of the nostalgia aspect and the fact that I love the story of the game. This is true with some newer games...take DoW for example. Sure I played a lot of games on-line and did that for awhile...but when I play the game now, it's not to get on-line and play; it's too pick up the campaign mode and just reminisce (SP?) about a good game that was fun to play. And like CenturionJixra has so raptly

lol, isn't that the truth. Good luck.
nope, unfortunately that is still the only way that you can update both. It sucks and takes a nice amount of time...but doubt that they will change any of that until the full release of Entrenchment.
Don't know if they finally fixed this or what (my guess is that they did), but it now works for me. I was finally able to cast my vote. Yah!!!
Wanted to let it be known that while playing a SP random map with 3 AI, about 30 minutes into the game, I had to pause for about 20 minutes. Started the game on un-pause and played for about 5 minutes then received a "Run-Time Error." No other info than that...no mini-dumps. I then reloaded from my last save point and the game played fine. Later in the same game, around the 2 hour mark, I had to pause again for about 1 hour. WHen un-pausing, I played for about
never mind...I figured it out. [e digicons][/e]
aaawww, this sucks Anny. I was able to download and run it. Played a small map to get a quick game in and played for a couple of hours. It was nice...hopefully, you'll get some time this weekend. Plus, everything ran fine except for a couple of run-time errors. I will post this, but not for sure where I should start the thread. Can you direct me accordingly?
