But the demo ran fine on that hardware. Also, if I can run Crysis on high I don't see why I shouldn't be able to run this on max. Do the patches get added automatically through Stardock Central? I've got 15GB left on my HDD so it shouldn't be that.
The demo ran very well, with maxed out settings and very fast load times. But I bought the game a few days ago (download) and now it takes about 3 mins to load with extremely bad performance. The game hangs for over a minute after loading, if I select units or planets or go into their sub menus it can also pause for around 5 seconds. And lastly I occasionally get bad stuttering or hanging when zooming or moving between planets. I'm running an 8800GT, AMD 6000+x2, 1GB RAM, Windows X
