ROFL - I have seen the CEO on Stardock engage in a debate with user's who criticise his company. He doesn't ban them. He either listens to their criticism if valid, or corrects their mis-conception (e.g. about Impulse) due to a short coming of their understanding. Go look at some OTHER forums if you want to see what banning is like, or content being suppressed etc....

I can see what Siddy is getting at. While they don't do much damage, the flak do do damage and can take a pounding due to HP and armor. The 360 field of fire also helps them. And he is also right about taking them out with LF not working. LF will not be able to take out the flak effectively until the LRM are gone. The only way to do this is with LRM or HCs since the flak will thin out the fighters fairly quickly. And noted - Siddy now has 5 karma due to getting +

Even if Siddy is correct about the flak/LRM combo (I'm not agreeing or disagreeing - just assuming he is for the sake of this argument), SC still have a place when fighting enemy starbases as your fleet can stay out of range of their starbase and let the SC kill the starbase. This assumes that you have no enemy fleet in system to oppose you...

Not sure - the size (225.9) seems about correct. I think the 1.4Gb is the total installed base - of which you have some of it already done!!! I think the version number is 1.16.051 :D

I would like to point out that the Sins community (MP community) is mostly adults - AFAIK most are mid 20s to mid 30s. Kids like shoot them ups as they have shorter attention spans :D Most of the veterens are generally not that bad until someone comes shooting their mouth off. They then get learned good and hard either in the lobby and/or in the game...
