I'd like it if each person had a 'flagship' that stood out from the rest of their fleet (other caps included). It would give you something to bolster your forces with, and something to aim for when you encounter the enemy.
What - the fact that the ship is a cap ship is not enough???
Kinda a weird question. Is it better to build more tradeports vs AI or more ships. Its kinda a linked issue. Trade gives you more income to buy more ships. And since fleet upgrades reduce the % of total income you get with each level, you NEED trade ports to keep you viable. Culture is important as it 1) Stops enemy culture 2) Gives a race specific bonus (see 1 - it also means denying it to your opponent) 3) Can kill a planet by flipping it 4) Boosts lo
I looked on ironclad. All I found was "add player". No game list or nothing. I'm playing entrenchment
You need to add a player to the account before you can log into the lobby. You have been waiting at a logon screen instead of the lobby!!!
Looking at at least one of the threads in the strategy forum, what I do see is "ONLY PEOPLE WHO PLAY MULTIPLAYER POST IN HERE. NO SINGLE PLAYER PEOPLE!" (https://forums.sinsofasolarempire.com/341116) which makes me very angry in general. F that noise. If that's what I can expect from multiplayer, then I'll happily stay the hell out.
There is some context around this. Such as someone who purely plays SP going - "I want XYZ to be changed" or "ABC tactic works" without hav
Lol - go team work!!!!
did you read the post tesla?im an exceptional player and getting better.and
I would still like to know by what benchmark you have rated yourself? What logon do you use in Sins? Have you faced any of the acknowledged skilled players to validate this claim? (No offence, just that a lot of people claim to be skilled when they start playing MP because they can beat the AI on hard (or even unfair [e digicons]8(|[/e] ), but learn the hardway that MP is a couple of st
Hack! Learn to read! He said he is just acceptional. Y'know...it is like...somewhere between acceptable and exceptional....
My bad... :D OK - being a little serious Cykur is leaving Sins for an unknown period (maybe forever). He is in DT (Dream Team). I'm not in a clan. DT and Brothers in Arms ([_]) are the two clan generally considered the most skilled. Most of the others have some skill, but are not as strong, or are more casual in their approach.
Hack, you should checkout my starts in Entrenchment with Quick Start enabled.
I know - the only game I've played with you really is that one with that yellow newb noob. I watched it more to see what happened from reds point of view since he had so many carriers when we went to fight him. That was funny. "Hack - help. I have no fighter cover...") "Coming - this should be OK with my cover and your ships"... "Crap - how did he get that many fighters???" :D I have t
wow, well done, it all makes sense now...
Thank you, thank you. I'm here all week. Try the veal!!!
Always good to get the numbers out Bob. I'm not sure that it takes 30 minutes for 280 increase though.... I wonder if there is some other rule here - same as when looking at the damage output numbers in the files and how they don't equal DPS straight out....
Awww comon astax. You can tell me.... I'll buy you a cup cake!!!!
He doesn't like carriers as the SC kill his ships and he doesn't know how to kill them as the carriers won't come and sit within range of his static defences. So his stuff gets blown up while the other player (AI?) doesn't lose anything.
I have no idea what you just said, apart from you want to join a clan. Are you saying we should consider you an exceptional player and you are getting better? Or are you saying you aren't very good but are trying to get better?
Without having done the analysis, I would like to comment on a few things I have seen. People like How and Tyr sometimes will get the HW pop upgrade (assuming vanilla or non-quickstart Entrenchment) if they know they have time on their side (I've watched replays to see what they did in games I have been in with them, regardless of the side I am on). They know it will help them get the credits they need longer term. This is especially important for Vassari who cannot get trade until le
i build 30 flak frigates and watch fck loads of little flying things die.... then i send them flak frigates in to shoot support vessels and generaly just soak up damage, if the op is dumb enough to shoot them. Speaking from a tec perspective here. Haven't built a single carrier vessel, neither cap nor cruiser ever since entrenchment. I found flak frigates quite sufficient to deal with them. Because no matter what you do: i win. If yo uattack the flak fr
No - only way to patch past 1.05 (which had a dedicated install exe) if Impulse (which takes you to the correct version automatically by updatign only the delta files). No patch = no onilne play. No Impulse = No patch. No IE7 = No Impulse It's that simple I am afraid - you will have to install it. Impulse has been designed around the notion that it will use available windows infrastructure, which includes IE.
Stardock are who you need to are to talk to since it is an Impulse Issue, but I don't think they have a phone number. Incidently, are you sure the card isn't maxed out or reported as stolen or something which would mean the issue is with the card itself???
