I loved the copy I had. Played it heaps. It didn't have any cut scenes in my version for some strange reason..... I only ever played the computer though as 1) Getting 2 players together back then was an issue due to lack of network connectivity 2) Having the time required to play it (since we both had to fast forward for that bit to work....) I was hoping Empire At War would be more like it, but with the current visuals of EaW.... The battles could have

-1 -69 CORRECTED.... Damn refreshing....
Will that effect Games for Windows certification, or does it just bypass it totally due to not storing the data locally? Also, what happens if I am not connected to the Internet?
MBaron888 gets it - he was the actor who got the chest buster in Alien
Lol, but that list could go on forever...besides, I was told to not single anyone out (remember the blacklist?) By the way, I think it would be hilarious to have Tin, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Diamond. Perhaps the worst of the worst could be plaid.
So would Bronze be Gold, Platinum or Diamond??? Surely he isn't Silver or Bronze??? :D
Correct - bonus points to explain why using John Hurt was so funny...

Gah - no one has done anything. About to go to bed now....
Always glad to have newcomes. They are always welcome. The point I want to make here (without wanting to desuade people from playing MP and looking to join a clan) is that the experienced players basically want to make sure they know what they are facing so the teams aren't really unbalanced as that isn't fun for anyone. Hence why the more competitive clans won't let you just join. They want to gauge your skill first :)
-1 -60 Home from work and have just cleaned the pool chlorinator (damn that calcium builds up fast!!!!)

Not that I've been there since I was about 12. But I know people who have... So I know..... :D SpaceBalls - what a great movie. Pop quiz - what is the space ship sitting on the cantena landing pad at the end, and who is the guy who ordered the "bad" meal!!!! ;)</p

I've almost exclusively played Sins on the PC for the last year. Just the Gal Civ 2 Ultimate for those quiet nights when Sins is not happening (Australian nights <> US/Europe prime time) :( So those two are on the list. Not sure what #3 would be - was thinking about TW:Empire, but have been put off with how poorly the demo ran on my PC (Q6600, 8GB, 3870X2, Vista Ultimate 64). Plus all the bugs that people are reporting...
I usually have all my research temples on one planet per type.
Good move when that planet gets attacked - if it is military you are back in the stone age as you can't build your advanced units anymore...
Try playing online - humans aren't that stupid!!!! :D
ROFL - I have seen the CEO on Stardock engage in a debate with user's who criticise his company. He doesn't ban them. He either listens to their criticism if valid, or corrects their mis-conception (e.g. about Impulse) due to a short coming of their understanding. Go look at some OTHER forums if you want to see what banning is like, or content being suppressed etc....
If we were to set the date in our computers back a month, to say March 1st, would we be able to avoid the attack (temporarily)?
Experts don't think it will work as the virus will be getting the date and time from an internet time server (which WILL be correct) and ignoring the local system clock... As for the launching of nuclear missiles etc... Don't they require a security turn key to enable the launch circuits? I wasn't aware a virus could do that....
a mirror would not reflect a weaponized laser like it would your normal laser pointers, the mirror would vaporize from the heat. you couldnt use a mirror to defect the military lasers of today, let alone for something way advanced.
The clone superman was able to get the lead ball(filled with kryptonite) out of his head by using his heat vision on a mirror in a hair salon!!! (Superman: Doomsday cartoon movie). So it MUST work....
And don't forget the "What Siddy thinks section."
That section deserves its own sticky!!!! And with Siddy being involved, you KNOW it would be.... ;)
I can see what Siddy is getting at. While they don't do much damage, the flak do do damage and can take a pounding due to HP and armor. The 360 field of fire also helps them. And he is also right about taking them out with LF not working. LF will not be able to take out the flak effectively until the LRM are gone. The only way to do this is with LRM or HCs since the flak will thin out the fighters fairly quickly. And noted - Siddy now has 5 karma due to getting +
