I don't believe this is something they'd address in an expansion. Expansions usually only have new content, and if it fixes anything at all from the original game it would be major interface or gameplay tweaks, not something relatively small like this. This is especially true since Stardock's reason for having 3 mini-expansions is so players can pick and choose with enhancements and features they want, or get none at all. This will likely just be addressed in a future patch, if it's a
Since I only talk in complete sentences I never say that, I'm not even sure what it means. I think its lacking not to bother typing a complete line of thanks after playing with someone for several hours. It only takes 20 seconds.
GG stands for good game. I disagree with your opinion that it's lacking not to type a full line, just because so many other people don't do it. Of course, there's nothing wrong with doing that. Frankly I always type in full sentences, and never u
Actually, that does sound a lot like [link="http://www.infinity-universe.com/Infinity/index.php"]Infinity[/link], as NeoToby has said a couple of times. For those who don't know, Infinity is an MMO that is still in early development, but presumably when finished will let you control planets, fleets, and have your own empire. If P5yy's idea for a Sins MMO gets realized, it seems like it would be very similar to Infinity, which would probably have already been out for a couple of years by the time
Actually I also experienced this. I don't think its the graphics card since a semitransparent planet doesn't seem any harder to create than an opaque planet. There was no problem once I installed the full version of the game though.
I'm sure as you've stated you did everything in my guide that you have in fact disabled any hardware firewall on your router (SPI) while gaming in SINS?
Crap. Sorry, I forgot to mention that my router is actually designed to be a firewall (I think... it either says its name is "ProSafe VPN Firewall" or it says it has a "ProSafe VPN Firewall"), so as far as I know there is really no way to turn it off. Trust me, I've looked at every page on my router and can't find any off
Other people have already posted this, but I usually name mine after starships from Star Trek. My name is United Federation (couldn't fit "of Planets") so it works out well. If there's room I'll put USS in front: Enterprise (usually the flagship of a fleet or the first cap I build. Actually I'm surprised no one else has posted that they use it) Defiant Reliant Intrepid Excelsior etc. Sometimes I name them after X-302s and X-303s from Stargate SG-1/Stargate A
When I log onto ICO, and view the info screen for me in the lobby, my latency is always pretty low (30s, 40s) but when I go and try to play a multiplayer game, I always lag a lot, and my latency fluctuates from being as low as 40 to in the 7000s (this changes over a couple of seconds). Obviously I can't play a game with that much lag, nor do I want to do that to the other players, so I quit. Don't worry, I haven't tried to played more than 4 times, and each time I did something beforehand that I
Did you get the idea for the Atlantian race from Stargate Atlantis? Just wondering cause there seem to be a few similarities. Anyway, great mod! It seems there are almost too many SoaSE mods to keep track of... fortunately this one combines all the ones I like.
Great mod! I think you should add it to [link="http://www.moddb.com/"]Mod DB[/link]? Then registered members (like me) will get an email anytime it's updated. I only got SoaSE a few days ago, but all these new planets are great. The Urban type looks like Coruscant :
