Just don't forget the A-bomb :)
If you are headed there, you certainly don't want Avast.
True, but were not all using torrents like you :)
What OS are you using?
Its sacktime! Rock the casba!
I use Avast. It works good, its free, and no problems so far :)
EDIT (grrr, button dissapeared!): I think it's when a tiger(?) gives you a medal or something.
Didn't you have to get a bunch of medals? Mabey the trial only lets you get one.
All you original Oregon Trail fans can download the game and play it via Applewin (an Apple emulator) here: http://classicgaming.gamespy.com/View.php?view=GameMuseum.Detail&id=266 (much thanks to fragmaster for this page)
Personally, the non-pc games made by EA have been some of the worst games ever, (except mabey the SSX games). Pc wise, they've done alright. (but mabey thats just cause maxis is so good)
Get a porta-potty? :-]
Better yet, get a a porta-computer! I here they are making some that will sit perfect right on TOP of your LAP.
Example: Your first LRM takes up 4 fleet points. The second one takes up 5 The third takes up 6. etc.
It might work if you threw in a decimal point, otherwise everything would cost to much. Personally i think its a terrible idea, becuase you're not really making the game better but you're certainly making it more complex.
I don't care what anybody else says, the old Oregon Trail games were some of the most kickass games around. Shooting crap, watching your friends drown in river, or getting pissed off becuase the stupid wagon drove over you? How can you beat memories like that?
I updated to patch 1.04 and still cant find the tab to turn off pirates. I have looked in all option screens... any help?
Its not in the main options, its in the "game options" when you're setting up players in a new game.
Besides, there already another thread going with this kind of discussion.
Why are all these gamers trying to be politicians? It should be the other way around.
Fear my crack-baby pandas of doom!
Best troops anywhere is in America.
Then why can't we win a simple war against a few 3rd world nations? I mean come on we've over in the middle east for 4.5 years! WW2 was against three major world powers and it was only about six years long. This stupid war in the middle east has dragged on far to long.
If you open up one of the game data files you can see how many squadrons you get per level: ex. the tech capital battleship- CommandPoints StartValue 0.600000 ValueIncreasePerLevel 0.200000 This means that you will get one squadron at level 3 because (.6+.2+.2 =1) Then you would get one more at level 8 (.6+.2+.2+.2+.2+.2+.2+.2 =2)
Evolution is a load of bull**** created by lazy people who don't want to their job.

To truly get the most out of the game you should download the Galaxy Forge. [link="https://www.sinsofasolarempire.com/downloads.aspx"]WWW Link[/link] This allows you to slam out cool maps with a point and click interface.
hmmmm I guess a country where most people ride bikes and sell chickens on the street is way more advanced than us with the 2 cars per family, the latest video games, etc.
China is getting more advanced than you seem to relize. "Number of Cars in China Reaches 22 Million" -http://www.impactlab.com/2007/02/16/number-of-cars-in-china-reaches-22-million/ China has 1.26583 billion people, thats almost 1 vehicle for every 60 people. While this may not seem like much Ch
Tell me, how will America die? For us not to be a country anymore, we would have to be all killed enough where the few survivers essentially give up. I mean, crap, Europe was a war zone for centuries and we still have France, Germany, Spain, etc. right?
Yes, but you forget that Americans are really a Nationalty. We're kinda like a melting pot. A bunch of races thrown together. Also many countries were snuffed out and/or recreated during the time of the WW's. Plus America
Good point, but that will only happen as long as oil is king. As stated in ony of my post, "what do you think will happen to the middle east when oil is replaced with alternative fuels?". when oil is gone the middle east is going to need find something else to be importent in.
Also a good point, but oil will be needed for quite some time. There are many uses for oil, and even if the US or China creates some new super-fuel, less-developed countries will buy the oil to run
