The easiest way (for you) with the least amount of modding required is to make a mod folder for your mini-mod. Then rename his textures to match the current Sins texture names. These would go in your mini-mods Textures folder.
Excellent, that worked great. Thanks!
While you cant move them to steam you can now use Stardock's download program to take care of Sins and other stardockian programs.
How? I visited their website, but there's no download buttons, even though my games are listed with the proper serial numbers.

Star Trek > Star Wars. I could spend a few paragraphs listing various reasons off the top of my head, but it's pretty late, so I'm just gonna go ahead and wrap this up. TRANSPORTERS. Thanks for playing, Star Wars.

Asking FPS vs. RTS in a message board for an RTS will probably give you a skewed result; guess which side it'll be skewed towards? Anyway, I prefer FPS. Better storylines, more character interaction and development, and generally more vibrant worlds. While there are a few exceptions (such as World in Conflict), FPSs generally are more realistic and more story-based. Mind you, I'm not talking about generic games like (bracing for flame) Halo 3 or most COD games. I'm talking about games

I've played DotA sparsely, but I just wanted to point out a few things in JinxOfSin's negatives for Demigod.
-controls are sluggish. Heros don't immediately respond. Sometimes they don't respond at all (never happened to me, but my team mates complained about this before)
I used to play DotA rarely, but enough to remember the controls. Demigods are a bit more sluggish, but not really much more so than D
Good point danw13335. I see what you mean. What I want though, is a unit that has some meaning to it. Not one that you can really create or could be like the others, but one that is truly unique and you could say you were proud to have it. My point is, I want something that has a little history behind it.
I see. So they're more for general awesomeness than gameplay? I don't think heroes really make sense for this kind of game. After all, (and correct me if I'm wrong) heroes are essentially very powerful units that can use special abilities and level up and the like. That already exists in the form of capital ships, so I'm not sure hero units would add much to SoaSE.
Why not make it so that capitals are unable to bombard? Maybe only fighters and small frigates (siege frigates only?) are small enough to navigate inside of the dyson sphere in order to take out the population so it can be recolonized? This may not be feasible due to game engine constraints, but would be much more realistic.
If the structure's health is going to be that high, it's probably not a good idea to m
this is probobly a dumb questio, but does anyone know what the Entrenchment logo is supposed to be?
Going a bit off topic (although I guess I'm really not since this is in the OP), I believe the Entrenchment logo is supposed to resemble a shield.

Back away from topic for a bit... Correct me if I'm wrong, but the Enterprise-A wasn't officially the flagship of Starfleet, was it? The NX-01 and the D and E certainly were, but I don't remember anything from TOS that showed that it was a flaship. Back to topic: I'm not sure about this idea. If it was done well it might be neat, but obviously a 100% increase in all stats would be far too powewerful. Not to mention that, as the previous poster stated, it would be more

I suppose I should start with what happened yesterday. I opened up Impulse to update SoaSE, Entrenchment, and Demigod, and noticed that SoaSE had uninstalled itself. I didn't want to screw up the Entrenchment install, so I uninstalled the expansion pack too and left SoaSE to reinstall overnight. This morning, I tried to download and reinstall Entrenchment, but it keeps giving a Download Error after the "Building File List..." stage. I've tried quitting and reopening Impulse to no avai

To produce a dxdiag (this is on XP, I'm assuming it's the same for Vista), go to the Start menu, then click on Run. Type "dxdiag" without the quotes, hit enter, and wait for the progress bar in the lower-left of the new window to complete. Then click the Save All Information button at the bottom of the window, choose Text File as the save type, and save it to the desktop. Email it, along with a description of the problem and a saved game file, to sup
