It might be just as much of a problem if they moved as compared to when they stay. Just like SC prioritize targets the defenses would as well possibly scurrying off to what might seem a small threat at the time while your SB is getting pounded. I see you also gave it an option to park, but it might be a micromanaging hell to select each one or specific ones while also dealing with your SB and fleet at any given time during combat. Maybe an ability "reposition" where slowly over time structure
The last 3 ships I've lost (Discord level 6, progenitor level 6, and Dreadnaught level 8) were all after long engagements and were near a planet. I think the discord went through an unfinished frigate factory and *poof*. The others I can't account for final visual moment.
Did you order it to jump more than 1 gravity well? I've had ships climb completely vertical and try to skip a planet just spinning endlessly. I just told it to jump to the next well and suddenly it went straight and took off.
@Pb Resurrection works. Capital ships in a fleet aren't organised by highest level (at least for advent royals so far) Titans attack invulnerable objects continuously until directed to move (colonized asteroids) Repossession works against home worlds with capital victory on. (Just what I see as an imbalance since titans can't be disabled)
At least it didn't have that annoying cobalt voice to go with it.
Alternatively have them use after burners into the nearest star.
You'll also notice hundreds of volleys of missiles chasing after phase jump retreating ships as well if you have a lot of LRM's.
Yes, I was never really a fan of the TEC. They were a good race to learn the mechanics and strategies of the since they have such a strong eco and durable ships. I've played dozens of matches in rebellion so far and am burnt out myself. I think all of the things I found have been fixed or noted already. Maybe we'll get the advent back this week, cheers.
As the title suggests, when I launch the game it instant minidumps now.
I only got the update today and played the advent Loyalists. I was hoping this race would come out first since it is also my favorite. The upgrades added have significantly boosted the ability to dominate with culture. I went for a fortified approach and built a couple culture centers and the enemies can't push my culture at all. I've been fighting 3 unfairs (1 Tec Rebel / Loyalist and 1 Advent Rebel). It's tough to have 3 titans constantly up your ass but the longer the battles c
Well for simplicity I kept it to one tech added to each faction or 1 tech per race. Using a crew slot is a good way to balance how many are in play.
I tested it, yes just zooming on the planet it doesn't play. Putting the cursor next to the planet and zooming closer it plays. As a side note the things zooming around the planet are miniatures of all of the cap ships :p
Most of the AI I face has 1 titan and a huge armada of capital ships, which they replenish instantly haha.
Well limiting super weapons based on map size may make this more appropriate.
Thanks for the input. @JJBuck2 I was just throwing some numbers out to feel out the community. They could use some tweaking for sure. @Matrox1 The vanilla upgrade would apply to both races if it wasn't a faction specific upgrade. @Cipherpunk I was feeling these would be tier 8 researches that require a sizable amount of time and resources as they are meant to tip the scales in those long games with level 10 titans and such.
I had a few ideas on making super weapon's either enhanced overall, or just different based on faction. This could be base attributes or re searchable 8th tier enhancements. I will speculate based on the TEC how Advent and Vasari strategies will be. I'm formatting this as the race enhancement if no factions were involved, followed by a faction based one. TEC: Novalith Cannon Currently does 3500 damage and causes bombardment radiation (40% popula
I'll give it a try later to see if I get the same results.
what map is that?
Alternatively I do two star bases with fleet resupply as loyalists around those blue ones. Still a bad investment with 0 regen, but has the benefit of destabilization or an annoyance while moving the fleet back to defend.
T.A.R is rebels, and that's a good idea. Does the AI auto defeat when they keep building ships / increasing supply?
Would you keep the module when you lose the artifact? I don't know if there would be errors from setting an ability back 1 stage such as self destruct level 2 back to level 1 if it was the last thing upgraded just as an example. As far as artifacts... Increase crew experience, increase ship speed, decrease mass, increase planet health( or planet health regen), increase logistics/tactical build speed, increase fleet supply, increase relationships, decrease cooldown (ship ab
A lot of times I get a freeze, it was because of the ambient planet sounds file. I forget the exact error it shows but I could push skip instead of it crashing while SHOWERRORS TRUE is set. Maybe they're trying to fix it, as I have seen others report it in all of the trinity games as well.
