Culture is divided by the number of phase lanes connected to a planet. So if a planet is generating 30 cultures and has 3 phase lanes, each lane is pushing 10 culture per second. The time it takes for the culture to reach between a lane depends on the length of the lane and if an opponent is resisting culture (Via Tech upgrades / Capital Ships / Star Base / Their own Culture). It should also be mentioned that culture down a phase lane is cut in half for each planet it passes through. As long
1.Completely log out of and exit steam 2.Then navigate to your steam folder and you'll see ClientRegistry.blob 3.Rename this to ClientRegistryOLD.blob 4. Restart Computer then log into steam This will force steam to re acquire any updates that might be causing it to do that. Good Luck!
That's genocide space fist.
Happens at random, a lot less since beta 2.
Try turning auto record and auto save off.
I see what I did wrong, The letters were categories, the last button is (.). Sorry about the mix up, I already had your guide favorited, very useful.
I used your guide, (X) being the variable for A/B/C.
B.U.M.P Anyone?
Define early on, AI rush to build tech centers. The TEC Loyalists can start building Superweapons much sooner and cheaper than the other races / factions.
Having trouble getting this to work. I'm trying to test the effectiveness of certain capital ship / Titan builds. However none of the menus come up. (Ctrl + Shift + (X))
Honestly this seems to be any AI, but not all of the time so it must be one of the strategies IE (Aggressor, Fortifier, Researcher, Economic). They stop expanding and sort of sit around using super weapons on the pirates while you steam roll them.
I noticed that too, one and done. The other issue I noticed is when you both have 18-20 relationship with each other they do not offer pacts. I found a way around this however, I handed out 10k credits 5k metal and 3k crystal since I had a strong economy by that point. About every 5 minutes I got offered each of the pacts until all were running.
Yes it is annoying when they have 12 capital ships and a titan, especially when they were being fed for a long time and spam lvl 6 ultimates... *cough* 2-3 armistice spam...
It can be extremely annoying if you use a hit squad to bypass a heavily defended choke point and knock out enemy culture centers. They usually rush to build defenses or a small counter fleet. I wouldn't use it more than once in a match but it can be good to start an offensive push when your culture moves in. *cough* 25% damage 10% range.
I'm not too learned in net code, but isn't it possible once a connection is lost all players would do an autosave and they could just rehost from that point? I made no intention to over simplify it, but the point is made.
An ominous force disrupts the balance of the galaxy.
Is it just that save file or is it happening every game?
Diplomatic loss would only occur if you had diplomatic victory on, and it would require a certain number of diplomacy points which are accrued with the diplomatic cruisers being in another players gravity well. A Normal defeat is achieved by losing all planets, or in the bots case it surrenders when it's economy goes under from loss of planets and ships. There must have been another condition set such as occupation, research, or capital ship. If you have a save check the option
Where'd you see that? A single core laptop can run it as well, just at the lowest settings and will be horrible laggy. Minimum Processor: 1.8 GHz Single-Core Processor Recommended Processor: 2.2 GHz Dual- or Quad-Core Processor
I've run into this situation but it had 9 other capital ships and plenty of SC. This was very annoying since we'd get a full 3 seconds of combat before the next armistice. There was literally nothing I could do outside of retreating and giving up the planet or just hoping I could land magnetize on the right one before it cast the ability. I wound up building a mine field around them and a handful of defenses + SB, this kept them occupied while I started hitting their planets and they
Insurgents I guess?
If you're also TEC you can get planetary shields, when upgraded it reduces the Novalith's damage from 3500 to 750. This along with disaster recovery can be a cheaper more proactive method if it isn't dozens of warheads being shot. If you are the advent trying to turtle the above method (starbase + government) is really your only choice if not going on the offensive and taking out the cannons yourself.
It should be the 3rd upgrade level of offensive weapons. I'd disagree if they came equipped.
It's not about realism, just would make it feel more epic. Anyway all I've seen is negative feedback, thanks for the comments.
