32 bit would have made sense if it were a another micro expansion (which it essentially is if you already had all of the others), but it's a "new" stand alone. The optimization's they've made thus far have made the game more stable.

Most of the advent abilities are also using autocast horribly.

It depends on what map, each one has it's own normal / quick start load out.
I think all of this speculation is pointless now that they've announced a re-balance of super weapons coming up.

When you add ships into the fleet check the fleet order IE; Hold postion, local area, gravity well. Some units can change the fleet orders. I personally don't hot key fleets 0-9, but I haven't had a non firing issue, just what I already mentioned.
Their armor and damage increase as they collect bounty, so assuming that game was going on for a long time they got fed plenty of credits, especially from trade ships.
If you got custom race portraits or unique ship skins for getting all of a races specific achievements it'd be worth it.
Known issue, definantly hate this as well.
I've already seen it mentioned that moons need to be unique in the way that they should be between an asteroid and a planet. However I think moons should only be connected to a planet (no asteroids) and have its' phase lane significantly shorter. Right now they sort of show up anywhere just doing their thing sort of thing like rebels without a cause. Another thought would be for there always to be a natural resource on the planet that somehow boosts combat in the gravity well.
One of the devs posted they weren't ever going to have moving turrets since it would be up thousands of ships with moving parts on their models. Besides all of the extra cpu / gpu stress the current 2gb limit would bust way sooner.
Global Unity is an advent loyalist tech. It causes 5 culture per second to emit from all captured planets allied and enemy. At least this is the effect I've seen.
If you have you units stacked on the UI it's not too bad.
It was posted in the known issues before, they must have forgotten to re-add it. They will be fixed on the full release since it's been heavily speculated on that all current achievements will be wiped anyway on launch.
Does it say runtime error?
I've seen a few others mention this since the most recent update. I normally get endless send an envoy missions even when relations were at 20 and they had no other planets to send one too. Since this is the case I've decided to head to ICO and just team up with a human player and compstomp which eliminates all of those issues while still testing the other elements.
It's been mentioned in a lot of threads, the ai has already made some improvements since the release. They used to just jump back and forth between two gravity wells letting you slowly kill them or just bypass them all together, amongst other things. I'm pretty sure once the major bugs and imbalances and knocked out they'll turn back to the AI since their capital ship fetish isn't game breaking.
Until you research public forgiveness you'll also be hit by the -5 relationship for faction.

Might be a fix for the advent loyals culture spread bug.
Maybe just set a "target player" to keep it as simple as possible.
