[quote who="Timmaigh" reply="34" id="3149893"] Quoting Volt_Cruelerz, reply 33 Quoting Timmaigh, reply 32I could agree in regard to corvettes and new capship, but do not touch the Titans, theyre perfect, especially the Loyalist one (Vorastra, Charybdis, the manta ray...). Anyway, its not going to happen, i mean messing with content, i think these things are final. The least thing they could do, IMHO, is to recolor the orangeish parts of the new capital ship (Rankulas) to g

I intended it to be a capital / titan research. Selected on each ship individually in the ability upgrade tab (The white star). An alternative to make it competitive would be to make it a tactical or logistics structure that casts it on any ship of the same type in range of it when one of higher level is destroyed. If the structure is destroyed all stored levels are lost.

I tinkered around and figured out what happened. The new players I added didn't have homeworld marked TRUE, a small oversight but also something you wouldn't notice unless you were put into those player slots. Also with the entities I assumed the first slot would be player 0, but this doesn't seem to be the case since I spawned the same entity on all worlds and sure enough they are there now.

So I've used galaxy forge quite a bit in the past. However with the new victory options I'm a bit stumped. No matter what victory option I select it results in an auto defeat. All players have a marked capital, and are no one is isolated. Also I don't seem to be able to spawn entities on planets. Thanks in advance.

I usually set the titan in it's own fleet and give it some support ships next to it. Then as I move my main fleet I also move my titan fleet so there is a significant improvement in cohesion and jump times.

Instead of escape pods I think you should be able to pay half the price of the current total levels upgrade cost (As if you had purchased each level) to "clone" the current crew. Of course this would seem similar to the advent progenitors resurrect but it would cost money and have to be applied before the ship is destroyed. The games current time period would make this easily possible.

I'm not sure if it's a factor, but maybe having multiple victory conditions is throwing the AI off. I played last night and a lot of forces were hugging stars constantly changing directions from pursuing a capital victory or an occupation victory. They didn't seem to want to commit to one or the other so they were essentially useless. However once I took the occ planet I was consistently the target of most attacks, however none of them were at the occ planet.

[quote who="bilun" reply="4" id="3148020"]Excellent Post Mayal, and I definitely agree that it's a big factor that the Kortul can boost both offense and defense in a single ability. Your post also made me think on the converse of that topic: another thing the kortul has that neither of the other two do is a "one point Wonder" ability- something that get's essentially can fufill it's entire purpose at rank 1(Jam weapons) and the increased ranks only boost how often it ma

Maybe we can finally get an answer on this from the devs. This subject is brought up daily now...

I already mentioned this before but.. " I think a simple 600 second (10 minute) Debuff when it's rebuilt for example "reintegration". During the debuff period the titan would have reduced weapon range, increased weapon cooldown, abilities disabled (or cooldown increase), lowered AM regen, lower shield / hull regen, and maybe a little extreme but no xp acrued. If you wanted a reason you could argue the new crew would need time to get back up to speed with the old experienced crews way

I already suggested it before but, taking over a planet with culture should give you the option to take control of it. The whole buy a planet through trade reminds me of spore. The conditions under which you would be able to "purchase swindle" a planet would have to be carefully balanced and considered since it will also be in "enemy"or allied territory completely undefended.

Some popular mods have handled this by making certain planet types have different races by the neutral controlling faction. A couple examples being the Vasari holding neutral volcanics and the Advent holding neutral ice planets. When the game is finally released you can expect a lot of those mods from trinity to be ported and expanded into rebellion.

I still would like to see unique race portraits and capital ship skins for unlocking achievements. I see no reason to do the race technology specific only techs or the no specific type of ship achievements.
