Does anyone know of an address I could ping?

Any ideas?

I've not been able to update impulse. Every time I try, it simply says, unable to connect to servers and Internet not available. What could be the problem? I've not changed my network.

Not sure if this has been mentioned, but if you can send missles to other planets, you should be able to abort the attack if you take it over (As in the case of the TEC cannons). That is REAL annoying!

Before I patched my game with the first mod, I was playing a multi-solar system map that the game had generated (and was winning quite well too). That of corse went kaput with the first patch (but with a better game). Now that I have the latest (beta) patch, I have tried to find a multi-solar system scenario, but all that seems to come up are single-sun maps. What am I missing here? Thanks!

You know, a lot of people are convinced that the world will end during their lifetime. By the same token, many people are convinced that his/her child is a genius. And guess what. The world is still here... And your kid needs a prescription to finish his/her homework! (credits to diesel sweeties for that bit)

Will this render previously saved games unusable?

I tread a lurching timber world, a reeking salt-caked hell; and yet, perhaps, no worse a world than yours, where bishops stroll through charnel yards with pomanders to smell; where vile men thrive and love crawls on all fours.

Just FYI there are a lot of screnshot programs (one being FSScreen) that makes saving screenshots a snap!

Before I begin, I know we are talking about a Beta and yes, I know it's a beta for a reason . On the good, it's like a new game. When I played my first large scenario, I was getting slowdown all over the place... Now it's like a new game! But on the downside, I am gettings some freezes and crashes...I have an ATI raedon x700 for my card. Any thoughts...or just wait for an update?&nb

Wow! I this of course killed my previous game, but I was about finished anyways. This version has better graphics without all the slowdown I ran into!
