Yea, these forums tend to be much more sophisticated than most forums, including those belonging to Bungie. When I first got Halo 3 I went to the forums to see what people were talking about there. Let's just say I decided to not comment on what other people lest I become involved in a flame war. It's so much nicer when the community of the game aren't all immature. Note:(Not all people on Bungie forums are immature, just the vast majority of them)

I'm tired of people saying that pc gaming is dying. It is not in danger of dying soon for many reasons. One of these reasons is that pc games can be modified and edited to the point where a game is much better or completely different. For example, Oblivion is fun on both PC and Xbox 360 without mods. Thaeos, I am basically doing the same thing, lol. I hate it when developers go over the estimated release date. I understand why, but it is really frustrating when you expect the patch to be out and it ends up being late... Oh well, I am sure that the time they are taking to work on the patch will be beneficial in the end.
I am very glad that there will be a new patch with significant changes. I really don't mind installing Impulse in order to keep the game I enjoy playing up to date, and I believe that many people are unappreciative of the effort the development team puts into updating the game, regardless of how you obtain the update. I would like to know when the beta is actually going to be released but overall, kudos for improving an already awesome game. Thanks.
