Ah, is it? Haven't seen much of the Vasari assets yet. Makes sense. :p

Anyone else notice the Titan is actually translucent when it's using that ability? At least it is in the picture...
Thanks, was a little disappointed when I didn't have to defend it from some call-to-arms of AI, and wasn't sure if that was working-as-intended, or what.
So I started a game to try out the new "Capture Neutral Planet with Large Force" goal. If I recall correctly, you're supposed to hold it for a set amount of time to win? Well I captured it with the Loyalist Advent titan's level 6 ability, and instantly won. There were still enemies in the game (though the inhabitants had been cleared out from the planet itself), and I was declared winner the second I used the skill. Is that normal, shouldn't I have to hold t
I'd like to see the Vasari's "mysterious enemy" make an appearance if there is an expansion.
I dunno... maybe in the expansion we should have a race of little immature girls -- with school girl outfits!1!1!11... [/sarcasm]
Yeah, push backs happen, still wish we could get another loose guess on that hotfix though. :D
Hi gang, Just curious about any news on the Hotfix Yarlen mentioned. Anything yet?
Spam beats spam, what a strat!
Well, if for the sake of simply modifying files already created by GF, I had already considered a personal tool. (Was considering something along those lines, simple text file manipulation for wormholes, originally) But I thought it over for a while and figured it would be easier to use an existing source to work from if it was available. Also, I saw your post but didn't have time to comment before I had to leave today. But personally I think the Modders in paticular would love y
I had a few questions pertaining to galaxy forge, and was hoping to get an answer from a Dev, or some community member already aware of the situation. For starters, I love Sins. I've been making a few attempts at custom maps, and have enjoyed the experience so far. However, It's come to my attention that GalaxyForge lacks a few User-Friendly features that would make our lives oh so easy. So, my questions are: 1) I know the devs are busy, so are there any planned updates for GF
I also think something like the ability to create more than one type of ship (maybe a frigate as well as a cruiser) from the same factory at the same time would be nice, in trade for a small cooldown on specific construction. It would force variety, though I'm sure many would dislike the idea to begin with. Ex: Build - LRM + HC Finish - LRM and HC are on -short- cooldown, but other ship types are available to build immediately.
Well personally I'd be a little upset by the idea of a Rock/Paper/Scissors mechanic. There may be other ways of balancing like Cost adjustments, but simplifying it like that would leave a bad after taste for me. Just my opinion.
It does seem a bit odd that "carriers" can only carry 1 unit. I would love to see some more resarch/upgrade posibillities to increase this, at least.
Well, I don't think too drastic of a game logistics change is wise at this point in development, let alone likely to be accepted. However, many players do prefer a degree in customization in the way they play... wether it be Spec in WoW, custom Heroes in Battle For Middle Earth 2, or endless other design aspects through the ages. I know I wouldn't mind the 4th option for a somehow tweakable race, or even a small amount of choice in the design of a capital ship, but I'd still play Sins witho
Typo in the manual/old information then? Or unintended outcome? Could a Dev possibly elaborate?
Well, from the downloaded client I bought a week or so ago, it says... "Squadrons Supported: 2 (upgradeable to 7)"
That mysterious red bar was the "skuttle" countdown. You probably accidently clicked the button or some hotkey to skuttle (self destruct) it.
1) Won't happen -- regardless of how in debt, or how poor the U.S. becomes, it would by no means make the country or it's government fall... The economy may be forced into a radical change, but we shouldn't forget that even 3rd world countries are maintained for extended times under peaceful rule. 2) Well... you know how when you play the "Gateway" map in Sins, and then suddenly, once you have control of the other system, the NPCs combine forces and gang bang you? Yeah, I call that the
Yeah, just figured I'd ask since, as I said, this was far from the lag effects I've seen in other games -- as well as this one.
So I've been playing this custom map I found online, "Big Blue", which has roughly 240 some odd planets and 26 stars, I believe. I've noticed, though, that after about 4 hours into game, where most of the area is explored and war has finally set in, things go weird... It started simple enough, my HC's began to react very slowly to intruders on my gravity well, or not at all. I'd have to command them to attack, or they'd take a while to decide something was present (this was only HC's
Ya, seen this more than enough on the "Gateway" map... Even a capped supply, well developed fleet just can't handle the coordinated full force of atleast 4 other nations.
