It runs if i execute the DEV.EXE, but fails if I start it from STEAM or the normal executable. The most recent mini-dump is linked. It worked last weekend and fails now. I've tried both the normal current version and the back-level 1.80mods version. Same result. pat----

Thank you kryo , but they were unable to figure it out either. While troubleshooting (read: trying to figure what was blocking the acceptance of other PCs to join games hosted on this box), I used Autoruns (a Microsoft SysInternals tool) to disable anything autostarting during a boot that I didn't recognize. Unfortunately, I apparently didn't recognize the USB and Ethernet drivers. Oops. Since my motherboard doesn't have a PS/2 port,

I uninstalled SINS, cleaned the registry and all files I could find, rebooted and reinstalled. Win7 PCs are still unable to connect to games I host on the Win8.1 PC. Thoughts? pat----

Good morning. Three friends and I are getting together this weekend for a SINS session. Two machines are mine, and two belong to one of the other guys. He brought his over today and we set them up and tested for connectivity and functionality this morning so that we don't have to waste time the day of the actual get together. Two PCs are Windows 7sp1, one is Win8.1. Ports 6000 & 6112 are open on all three PCs (both TCP & UDP). Confirmed via nmap 6.40. UPnP and SSDP services are set to Automatic and Started. UPnP and HTTP ports are open in the firewalls. Either of the two Windows 7sp1 machines can host and the other two PCs can join the game. If I host a game on the Windows 8.1 machine, the two Windows 7sp1 PCs see the game in list of available games to join. but
