Ok playing your map now :) I paused it at the momment to feedback, thus far Im enjoying it :) Heres the thing everything started fine, no defeat message like the other person recieved , for me at least. I have capped maybe 4 systems so still a bit to do, I see enemy ships but Im not sure if its just like the rogue ones. There were some roids seemed to be owned by another faction though. I was all for ladders but seeing how people are looking for ways to exploit the game currently well if there was a ladder it would need to have admin monitoring peoples stats and stuff to try and weed out cheaters and I cant see it getting taken as seriously as would need be. I agree with Fractallicon and by the time all the so called balance tweaks are done the game is going to be speed orientated.... utter crap.

Really need to sort the edit button functionality but just to finally say I 100% agree with you redmaw. Anyway Im away to have a game and dont want hassle but I Hope a good game doesnt get ruined. Fact is every faction should have really strong abilities which players should have to learn to counter. (Sure there are extremes which have to be dealt with but the fact is many times if a player just gets outclassed then people complain and the game gets wrecked, maybe Im just a cynic but Im thinking

No edit button again but this was inevatble to happen , people moan about units perhaps from a context limited to how it effects there chosen faction and that has a knockon effect to all factions abilities because there is a severe imbalance to the nerfed faction . Same old same old wish except in extreme cases people would not shout so all the specials end up rubbish and you need a degree in warfare strategy to use any abilities usefully.

The OP mentions an exploit but correctly doesnt discuss it. He wants to know how to PM a mod, actually can see a mod has answered but I dont think its good others hinting at what the exploit may be since most people are going to use it now :(. I dont want to have to deal with numerous hacks and stuff online and mentioning what an exploit is has just made the game 10 times worse! I have seen this in many games, I remember playing pro evolution soccer 6 many times , with 0 lag then all of a sudden it goes crazy until they get ahead, I reckon people put the downloads on or something as the host so they get the wins. All you can do is note peoples names who are like that and dont play them, its a case of big egos, small minds :)

Okay setup a user on xfire my name is Foxfire28 and like some others on here I have only played 2 or 3 times and am really bad. I would like to play the game on normal speed if possible but am not to fussed. I will add some of you to friends. No edit button :( , anyway just to add I agree what was said about game stability though and even certain technology on PCs, I think some of the technologies are getting put out before they are fully tested or have stable drivers. With certain brands of nvidia cards , nvidia SLI is a prime example of this. (Have worked with lots of sli PCs even with the correct ampage some variants of the top notch nvidia cards still have numerous problems in sli mode)
