I see a lot of idiots who apparently have never worked for a game development company. There are a lot of projects that game developers work on, not just a single game at a time. Stardock is doing an awesome job with these patches in comparison to most others. I can give everyone a great example of how bad some companies can be, and its name is lucasarts. Those people suck at giving updates or community support. People have been asking for months, nay, over a year, for a new up

You don't have to tell each and every hanger, cap ship, and carrier what to build individually. If you select all of your units, i mean everthing, you can build from there. You can't be an experienced player if you don't know that. And i'll say it once again. Imagine that you need 5 carriers, each carrying nothing but bombers. If you put an Auto-Build in, you won't get those bombers right away, instead you'll have to cancel whatever fighters it was making, and have to select the bombers you want

Simply put, micromanagement cannot be completely eliminated. Like many others have said, this type of function would make it even more time consuming. Say you need a carrier with only bomber squadrons. If it is 50/50, you'll get a fighter and bomber, now you have to cancel the fighter production and click the bomber again, now multiply that by 5 or 10, even 2, more time has been wasted because of this function. And PurplePaladin, apparently ur friends don't have enough experience playing the gam

I love my 64 bit system, but i have always had one problem with it. It won't run my older computer games due to compatibility issues. I have a 32 bit with the same, if not better specs, and it plays these games just fine. So yeah, it's great, but older games don't tend to work with it. (By the way, the game that gives me the most problems is Star Wars: Empire at War. But hey, stupid old Lucasarts is at fault there. They won't release an update to fix the problem.)

Uuuuummm.... I don't think you can change that in GalaxyForge. You have to go to the entity files and change the definitions in either the GalaxyScenario file or GalaxyDef file.

Ok, how is you choosing to get a job child labor. Here in America, i got a job when i was 15(i'm currently 16 and still have that same job) and i love it. It's not child labor because i chose to get that job. So, yeah, go get a job if you need cash. Just pick something that you wanna do.

ok, this would have been simpler if you had said that in the first place. Originally, you made it sound like you were talking about cap ship count, but yeah, now i understand. Yeah, the only way to change that is to give another module the build cap ship ability and redescribe what caps will be built.

I seriously cannot understand why most of the world seems to hate the USA. We aren't the super-rich, have-everything-we-could-ever-want people that many seem to think we are. Me and my family struggle to pay our rent every month, and after we have bought necessities, we only have like $2 that we can save. Now, I won't say that we experience anything like many countries do, such as extreme hunger and oppression. But, due to the high standard of living in the USA, many have a difficult time from b

Alright, let's clear up the whole max amount of capital ships question. The only thing that is hardcoded is capital ship levels. You can change the amount of capital ships you can build in the game. However, I have conducted tests on the limit to how many caps you can build. If you go higher than 49, the game usually gets a minidump. And no, there is currently no way to mod the AI, that is completely hardcoded for the time being. (Carbon, go look at the X10 mod under the downloads section of thi

Your story doesn't make sense because it says that the Vasari created the thing they're running from. In my version, the Vasari were trying to make clones, and they suceeded. But they made one grave mistake, they thought the clones were mindless slaves. They made them work 24/7/365. Eventually, the clones began developing their own wants, and so the clone rebellion began. The clones secretly stole entire fleets, and destroyed the Vasari's original government infastructure. The last of the Vasari

For some reason, when I tried giving the TEC some Advent ships, the computers were able to build them. However, on my screen, I couldn't see icons for them or build them. In other words, the AI can build things you can't. I find this odd, and yet it seems perfectly natural. However, it makes you think, "What could I do to make the AI completely UNFAIR and give them a huge advantage?" Right? Anyways...that was my first thoughts on the subject, but then I discovered what HammerSun told you, j

I can get galaxy forge to work, in fact, everything new works except for particle forge. I don't get it. I'm running on a Vista Home Premium 64-bit OS, 2.2 ghz quad core processor, 5 gigs of ram, nVidia 8400 card, and I have over 300 gigs of memory left. My computer is pretty high-end, but it won't run this program. VERY FRUSTRATING!
