Got Entrechment now it does seem the Ai are more clever it used to be like C&C ai, build send in a mass then do nothing. Now I feel challanged. Thats daft that the Ai dont build super weapons did the developers forget to code that in?

Im running on a Mac with a 800Mhz CPU and a 16MB graphics card and I get far better performance than running it on my 3.8 Ghz Quad core with 1700 MB nvidia Card.

I dont get how I can run X3 Terran Conflict very smooth but Sins grinds to a hault its the most laggy game I've got something is wrong with their CPU programing maybe its a game engine that is just too demanding for any CPU. Most games get patches to fix the performance and memory leaks but I have not seen Stardock anounce a performance fixing patch yet.

This is gonna make the Apple scarf wearers angry i think it needs to be made less cool or they will all be coming to this forum to start a flame war.

I hope Empire is going to be more polished then the last game MTW II was a bug fest and was never fully fixed. They even released the Demo for MTW II with a scripted battle to trick us into thinking the Ai was far better than it actually was in the retail version. Downloading the demo now il ignore the Ai this time and see if it crashes as much as MTW II before it got the 6 month later patch.

Do they get pished off when you fire the super weapon at them and they come to get it?

The Ai in this game always ruined it for me they would only ever show up with a massive fleet and I could shoo them off and start wiping out their planets with my super weapon cannon thing and the Ai would not come and try take it out. The Ai player would just sit around its planets waiting for my fleet instead of going after the super weapon. So does the expansion make the Ai work more like a human player?

Set the graphics driver quality to performance too low can be unreliable with some games.
