I would suggest reading https://forums.sinsofasolarempire.com/331326 (my story entitled Sinners) and https://forums.sinsofasolarempire.com/300386 (a VERY good story by Witchfire, the longest Sins fanfiction to date.) These two tales are the longest in the forums, and may give you some ideas for your own novel. Good

Well no one's really participated so far so I'm just going to cancel this project actually.

Ok, they didn't discover phase space. But a CERN experiment did observe particles moving faster than the speed of light. They've checked and re-checked their calculations, and have found no error. And they are dumbfounded. This experiment remains to be validated by other scientists, but if proven accurate (and there's a really high chance that it will), then we will FINALLY have achieved what we've always wanted....we can finally say that Albert Einstein was wrong

Carbon: I don't have a lot of free time in which to play Sins (which is in itself a terrible tragedy), but I like to play around with video editing programs and I just bought a new one, so I'm looking to make something cool. Hence this project.

I have a 250 gb external hard drive :) However, a quick how-to to change fraps to .wmv would be appreciated. Er....how would one go about doing that? Unless its as simple as importing into Windows Movie Maker and just publishing it in another format.... And Swiss Knight, I do plan to make somewhat of a story line here (so far as music videos or trailers without voice overs have story lines). And not to Requiem :P

Read the subtitle. Upload clips for me to download. Then I'll edit them together with cool music. Then it'll go on youtube. And everyone will be happy :) Hey! The title says this is blank. Stop looking this isn't happening anymore.
Oh, and PATCH TOMORROW! we plan on big patch party friday. The target date is tomorrow. That doesn't mean it will be. That said, expect to see me at the patch party if it's on time
Ha, we all know how closely Sins follows target dates. Aw I liked the Advent :/ Time to try my luck with the V

Hey everyone! You might not recognize my name because I was contacted and had to change it (somehow I accidentally went around the "not allowed in a name" rules.) Anyway, you might remember me as either C.I. , or guywhoyudontno (wayyyy back in the day). I've been out of Sins for over a year now because of hard drive space issues, but those have been resolved and I am reinstalling Sins as we speak! What I'd like to know is what (if any) updates, tips, tr

Sinners to be discontinued I'm not going to post any new chapters, on here or on the Sinners blog. I will probably pick this story up again after I finish the book I'm writing, but I'm going to make the story my own (get rid of all the SOASE references and add my own). Suffice to say, this thread will no longer continue.

Mark. 7.2.AI-15 With the transfer of Nuremsk to New Nuremsk, many of the men believed that they were out of a job, as there was no mining to be done on the edge of Borongoa, a dense forest that takes up a quarter of Lusitania's southern hemisphere. Many of the former miners resigned themselves to becoming foresters, hopefully for a company in Energon's business conglomerate. They might be more willing to take former employees of one of their sis

Mark 6.2.AI-15 Strange news reports are being sent to New Nuremsk via AaW (All-access Web). In the RwW version, the important bits were edited out, but my ma showed me the WwW version. Strange, indistinct reports of ships of an unrecognizable design are being transmitted from the Eastern Frontier. The weird thing is, the war with the alien Vasari has never left the Western sectors in all of the fifteen years that we have been fighting them. The

Mark 4.2.AI-15 Much has happened since I've last written, and I hardly know where to begin. Nuremsk, and several towns like it, have been evacuated in reaction to the black smoke that billows constantly from small vent holes that the LGDF drilled around the base of Mt. Belfourd. The vents, drilled to release some of the stress building up on the mountain, do nothing but release huge clouds of ash and smoke that billow up and covers the area in p

Mark 13.11.AI-14 I've made it seem like the Burask Mountain range is a very important landmark on Lusitania, but its not. Not really. Sure, Valkyrie's Trust is internationally known, but not many people care to learn the name of the mountain range in which the pass cuts through. Only Energon and mining towns like Nuremsk really care about the mountains. To the rest of the world, the Burask Mountain range is just another of the rather interesting

This link: https://forums.sinsofasolarempire.com/378407 is to a companion series to Sinners, called the Journals of John Barrére. It chronicles the life of a 13 year-old boy who grows up under the strict rule of the Trader Emergency Coalition. He also organizes a resistance against the Advent after they begin what will be known as the Trader Holocaust of the Eastern Rim, but that's for later on. If you're interested,

Mark 12.11.AI-14 Who am I writing this for? When I write in this journal I feel as if I'm talking to someone, but I have no idea who that would be. Whoever you are, I guess I'm describing my planet to you. I live on the outskirts of Nuremsk, near the entrance to the big mining operation under the Burask Mountains. My father used to work in the mine, before a cave-in killed him and three other men. It's just me, my ma, and my six year-old sister

Mark 10.11.AI-14 My planet is called Lusitania, and it is the economic capital of the Eastern Rim. Some people call it "the Jewel of the Eastern Rim" because of the vast riches of the planet's natural resources. Even Nuremsk, a small town--not even a city--on the fringe of Lusitanian civilization, is located beside a large and successful mining operation that is mining under the Burask Mountains. The Burask Mountains are a formidable mountain ra

Mark 3.11.AI-14 My name is John Hiporia Barrére. Hiporia was my grandfather's name. John was his father's name. Barrére has been the family name for as long as I can remember. Why am I writing this journal? I cannot say I know. Who will even read it? Certainly not Ma, or Lily. What I write will be too private for that. I guess I'll be writing these journal entries as a way of releasing my feelings instead of punching

Before I get started, I should probably explain what I'm writing. I started these "journal entries" during my winter break when I didn't have access to my computer and therefore my Sinners document. I bought a nice looking spiral notebook (its all flame-colored and has a black dragon on the front!), and just started writing whatever came to mind. I had a theme of course--the Trader Holocaust of the Eastern Rim (which has yet to happen in Sinners, but is something I've been meaning to
