Basically I just need to know where I should put the mod files and anything else I need to do. Any help is appreciated.

I personally think that the siege frigates should be made better bombers or perhaps give them an ability that deals heavy damage to tactical structures. Other than that though, it's hard to say that any of the units are useless. I always use colony frigates as any race.

My idea of a moon was an orbiting moon with its own gravity well connected shortly with a phase lane. Based on its orbit it could interrupt a phase jump causing fleets to land in the moon instead of the planet and based on the speed of orbit could even be timed to get your fleet to another section of the gravity well fast

I would have to agree with American schools having incredibly low standards. Everything progresses so slowly in some misguided effort to allow deadbeats/leeches to keep up. I fail to see how a person needs to be fourteen to begin taking algebra and how someone can pass a course while only knowing 60% of the content. It all needs to be accelerated and toughened up, along with failing those who can't put any effort into school instead of dragging them along to dumben the remaining 3 years of hi

I was planning on playing a game of sins with a number of fellow gamers but since a lot of us can't make the time for a full out game I was wondering if it was possible to play a game for a few hours, save, then meet together sometimes later and pick up the game where we left off? Anybody know how/if I can do this? Thanks.

You'll have a hard time winning by culture alone, but if you can use it to your advantage you will be able to gain bonuses in your own space and lower the enemies allegiance, maybe even keep them off a few outer planets.

Make sure that you upgrade your planet's civilian infrastructure, otherwise the planets will require money to support the civilians as opposed to them paying tax.

Scary....... If the fabric just wasn't so shiny and the was darker it'd look more picturistic, and the smiling doesn't help me feel any better.

I don't mean to be rude, but these expansions better have more content than so far described for $10 (ships expansion possibly excluded). I don't see why I should pay to individually fix underwhelming aspects of the game from the start so that I can have what the vanilla should have been as opposed to an actual expansion. Now if these things were incorporated into a large expansion with the rest of the stuff that would be just fine, pay $40-50 for a new faction, campaign, upgraded defense opt
Some may say its the beginning of the end.
If they find cloud computing to be a viable strategy who do you think is going to be supplying the hardware and programs? I could care less about the idea, I don't have anything to hide on my computer but I would be pissed if I had to use it and they charge me exorbitant fees to play videogames on "high"

As they say, work smarter not harder ;) It could be like twilight of the arnor, they managed to make it look better while also making it run better.

The game sucks and is consisted of immature twelve year old boys. It's not exactly breaking news.

Jeez, it's a BETA. They explicitly stated that it will be buggy and not to install it if you don't want to play with bugs. Instead of flaming a committed team trying to balance an insanely complex RTS, you could make a post suggesting that they include map positioning and better map support. They could easily be working on those right now!

I assume that the campaign and possibly the new race will be the focus of the expansion. That being said, the campaign will probably be quite long. I'd like to see a campaign making tool added onto the galaxy forge to keep us occupied while we wait for the expansion.

I think you have a computer that's just under par for the game. I had a lot of small errors trying to play games on my old outdated computer. How does the game run?

I bet they could get a lot of people to spend multiple hours trying to beat it though, the people who pay for halo would gladly cash up for this.

The campaign better have an awesome story. The advent sounds like the people who are actually good with a catch. The process of assimilating everyone to form a group mind to eliminate conflict and allow everyone to (hopefully) live well is noble, but people who've lived in a society like the TEC's (or ours) where the most valuable possession is freedom, it's natural to fight them off. This is the conflict that makes the collective such a beautiful faction in sci fi.

Maybe you should actually look at your own behavior first. The reason you got banned was because you called someone a fucking scum bag, not because Adolf Hitler stole Einstein's time machine and decided to make everyone miserable by posing as a GM and tossing out bans like candy. You broke the rules the developers put up to stop the place from degrading into a crude class-less game like halo, and you should be glad that they actually enforce the rules. Whether or not you feel like you'r

Scientists just admit that smoking increases the chance of getting any disease conceivable, they just get more money when they do a specific study for every disease that exists. I bought CnC3 because the price sticker covered the EA logo on the box. Politicians admit that corn based ethanol is a retarded idea.

I've started playing this from about ~1 1/2 weeks ago, and I'm loving it, so forth, but I have a few questions particularly about trade. 1. How does a trade alliance with another player help you both? 2. Some times my longest trade chain will refuse to incorporate another viable planet with a trade post even after a long period of time. Why won't it assimilate the new stops when it could make a longer chain? 3. How exactly do refineries work? As I see it they send out cargo

I first build two fighters in defensive situations, then I go on a 1F:2B ratio giving odds to the bombers. If you have a weak base they'll probably just send a few frigates and siege frigates, but at a stronger base/chokepoint they will send cruiser/capital ships. However, in a fleet I prefer to just go all bombers unless I'm building carriers. I find what slows me down the most is taking out those buildings, particularly late in the game with armor upgrades and and hull reinforcement t

Mind readers and psychics do not exist. They're just people with heightened perceptions of other people, they can take much more subtle clues than other people. Any study that proves they exist is obviously the result of inaccurate data/flawed procedure/extremely small testing base. Just because it's a "scientific" study doesn't instantly make it true, and I still haven't seen any of these psychic proving studies.
