Well I guess there needs to be a word for a country that economically and militarily meddles with other countries to secure assets but doesn't plant the flag.
does the word America work??
So is he just saying this because he needs a scapegoat?
Its not a scapegoat .. they are the ones responsible... Its not like obama blew up the well. Plus if our gov't takes it over then it will be our tax dollars paying for it. he just needs t
About the only place that hasn't felt American imperialism is Africa...because America doesn't care about Africa...
Actually we are in ugonda, somalia, south africa and a couple other countries... mostly the ones with diamond mines. So yes we try to impose our will everywhere. We just try to make them think we aren't controlling them so they won't get pissed off.
I did like the story line for it but the fixed refineries and weak structures(2 helicopters could destroy an anti-air gun for example) killed the game. I think EA just did that and then got rid of it in CnC 4 because the still couldn't figure out harvester pathfinding.
I feel America may already be on the way out. They 3 things that kill and empire are overstretched military and police, economic breakdown and internal unrest and corruption. From what I see the first 2 have already happened and the 3 is starting due to with the polarization of views the country is getting, economy making some desperate, and the loss of civil rights(habeas corpus etc..). the fact that alot of people in america think it will never fail or the re
If you knew every characters moves he was the ultimate character. He could change into ANY other character and had ALL of their moves, including their fatalities.
Actually I used to try to win the match as subzero and freeze them and then morph into another character and do their finishing move. Created a lot of interesting results.
MK3 was good, except for the ridiculous combos which the AI would start spamming relentlessly. Not fun.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834115792 this seems like a good deal. the other specs for the video cards are processors speed, mem clock speed and shader core speed. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834115763 this is a similar priced dual core.
I am excited to play this one. Mortal Kombat was always my favorite fighter franchise. The best release IMO was MK Trilogy for the Playstation.
I probably would never play CnC3 in MP as I like turtling and at the end rushing in with lots of Venoms/Mammoths etc.
Then you should do CnC3/KW multiplayer. I turtle and win quite often.
Maybe the developers just got a wrong idea about the number of MP players compared to SP players in the franchise and gave in to demands of the MP crowd, who got what they "wanted": A game designed speciifically for MP.
This is exactly what happened.&
They did do a good job on CnC3 single player and KW for multiplayer but besides that it all stunk since EA took over.
lso, a short reminder: The trailer is made by Square Enix, the game itself IS NOT.
In my pcgamer it lists the producer as Square Enix... the Dev is Eidos Montreal which is a part of Square Enix. It also mentions that no one that worked on the first 2 games will be working on this one. It also says more of the rpg elements will be stripped so that your actual shot accuracy wont be modified by stats.
Gonna have to change the name to Elemental: You've been served!!
I guess I meant "dated" in terms of the expectations of casual players who buy a game these days. Even the venerable Civilization series is reworking its combat to a more tactical hex grid system in Civilization 5.
That sounds more like what a game magazine would say. I personally like each game for its particular battle system and would like more of the same from each of them. I do like the HOMM battle system but would want Disciples III to stay with what Discipl
I actually liked the second on better!!! Of course I only played single player on FA. Reasons that I didn't like the first one as much 1. the upgrade/research system was tedious with the engineer babysitting. 2. The only way to win later missions on the hardest settings was to spam your base across the map. This was because the units were so weak that even a pop-cap army would be decimated well before reaching the enemies base forcing you to bas
As far as I can tell anyone should be able to play with each other since it uses its own lobby. (not 100% on that since my friends bought through impulse like me. It is definitely worth even more than 10 in my book. Only thing is some multiplayer modes could use more maps. Co-op campaign is 2-4 players . There is also Duo Campaign(2players),, versus (2-8 players) , Coop mode 2-6 players, Wars (2-6 players). Also 2 single player modes.
I would at least be making a complaint to the BBB or whatever equivalent there is in Europe.
I like trying to bring over the Scrin's mother ship to take out a base. Among other weird strategies to winning in Kane's Wrath. A daily dose of killing monsters in Titan Quest keeps the doctor away as well. [e digicons][/e]
Recently it's suddenly not cool to like Steam for example when I remember a time (pre Impulse) when Stardock employees would say good things about Steam and Valve and these days it's a slight negative comment about a game going Ste
I think its funny that they list a request for a feature as a means for banning. That in itself should make a consumer be wary of buying their product. That being said it upsets me since I've like a lot of games that paradox has made especially the europa universalis series. Hope they don't go the way of Activision and EA.
Its too bad that paradox has turned to this. Surprising that a complaint about bugs got a ban. I've posted lots of complaints about the lack of content in Majesty 2 and have yet to be banned there. Of course i have stopped posting there a couple of months ago anyway
but it seems to me that in modern navies destroyers are second biggest ships after aircraft carriers....
Battleships are the second biggest ships. Frigates are actually the smallest and are the real world navy's escort ship. Destroyers are also small and are escort ships. Cruisers are between Destroyers and Battleships. they don't have a corvette class.\ http://www.nvr.navy.mil/class.htm
Only games I remember from that far back are Oregon trail and carmen sandiego. Also some weird maze game where you had to fire and arrow at the monster once you guess where it was in the maze. First 2 on the apple IIe and the other was on an atari cartridge based computer. Later was Kings Quest and Might and Magic.
I would give you karma, but right now you should be standing outside a window with a boombox or guitar singing up to the bedroom window.
It seems you don't know how these things actually work. What exact problems did you have in what exact game?
It was Kane's Wrath. My buddy couldn't get the map maker to work since it would say the directory with the files it needed didnt exist unless he copied all the files from the steam folder into a folder named EA/Kanes Wrath. If steam offers the game with the map editor which it sometimes does it isn't an issue but they don't have that for all the
Why do custom maps not work then? It shouldn't matter where the game is installed.
When the program looks for the graphic and sound files it looks to where the store bought copy would've been installed. Since a game purchased on Steam is put into the Steam directory instead it can't find the files and doesn't work. I'm talking about non-steam games purchased through steam. There are ways around it like copying all the files into a folder with the origi
Its good to see that the offline mode works now. I'm still not inclined to buy games there however. Also its still a pain to try to get custom maps for a lot of games to work since it installs games in the Steam folder instead of the same folder a store bought copy would.
