One way to see if your processor is running like it should is to run CPU-Z to see if it is running at the speeds and voltages it should be. www.cpuid.com/cpuz.php its free. Of course it may just be your amount of ram. If your running win7x64 its minimum ram should be at 2gb.. x32(86) is 1 gb. Where vista was 1gb for both(x64 and x32) and 512mb for the home premium version.

I would give you karma, but it's been too long!
First thing I would check is the drivers for the processor. Also you might want to flash the bios if there is a new set available. I am pretty sure you are right about the Windows Experience Index... It used to go to 6 but now tops out at 10. I would look in device manager to see it there are any problems listed with the processor there as well.
The laptops or desktops? I have found the desktops to be pretty "off the shelf" as far as parts (I hate the Gateway power supply). But as I usually get extended warranties on laptops, I do not open them up much. The worst for proprietary was the old Compaqs! You could not even slip in a new floppy unless it was Compaq. But I always figured laptops were proprietary by nature. They kind of have to be to fit all that stuff in such a small space.
The only pa
I know how to manually manipulate them but it would be nice if they auto attacked like they are supposed to.
I've noticed this myself and its usually the jurasek sentinel for the vasari.. when there are no fighters/bombers in the battle they act normally but if there are fighters/bombers they sit and wait for those ships to get close to fire at but do nothing else.
I don't think Google is hacking peoples PC files to attain data on people. If they were there would be multiple lawsuits over it and it would have made the national news by now.
In the article it says that many states are considering lawsuits. Even though they mysteriously haven't. I am sure google dished a little cash out to grease the wheels. Also the first place I heard of this was on CNN. I also don't use IE or Yahoo either (i use firefox). But I'm
Another tool to use is SUPERAntiSpyware (free version). It finds alot.. Also IObits Advanced SytemCare (free edition)is good for registry cleanups and does spyware also but the registry cleaner is the best part of it. Also use the windows install cleanup tool(its free to download on the microsoft website) after uninstalling IE and before reinstalling
I have never heard of Google spying on wifi networks.
Its been all over the news... http://news.cnet.com/8301-30684_3-20005668-265.html
Do you guys think the same think about Microsoft? Yahoo?
No considering they aren't outside of my house taking pictures and then "accidently" spying on my home wifi network and uploading it to a database. That's a breach of my privacy and I won't tolerate it. I haven't used anything google since this came to light.
s, but the person was (probably) referring to the fact that Obsidian's people like Feargus Urquhart and Chris Avellone worked on many of the classic games so I can kind of see what he meant. But yeah the user was incorrect because Bioware was not involved in NWN2.
No i just made a mistake...It was Bioware's engine they used to make it and Obsidian was the developer. I'm glad I was mistaken since hopefully Obsidian can release another RPG of that quality again.</
Baldur's Gate was good when it came out.
Not true I still play those and NWN 2 which was their last great release. Of course the problems start as soon as any dev teams up with EA. Of course dragon age and mass effect were good just not great. They will keep getting worse as EA puts short deadlines on games to be finished and then tries to get the extra cash on DLC which is a non gamer friendly business model.
Perhaps a power supply fault or..
This could be the problem but like others said try rolling back the drivers first and if that doesnt work then reinstall the game without the update to see if that works. If neither does it could very well be a power supply problem... If it is dying slowly it can cause intermittent problems. It is definitley not the ram... the difference you are seeing is that windows 32-bit still wont see 100% of the ram when 4gb is installed.
Sometimes rebooting is caused by the cpu overheating... maybe the fan on it died.. you might have accidently unplugged the power to it when installing the card.
You may have to boot into cmos and disable the onboard graphics manually.
., no pressure on the UN to try to stop Iran, nothing
Obama actually is imposing sanctions on Iran and getting the U.N. in on it too. Also sanctions have been in place against North Korea for quite a while now. We just can't jump into wars anymore after all the cowboy shootin that Bush did. It does read weird but they were trying to say they would rather make the game less intrusive than worry about pirates.
Didn't they release a patch for the first Witcher that removed the DRM completely?
The game is available on impulse so the cd check must have been removed at some point.
Yesterday the Florida marlins handed out 15,000 vuvuzela's to the crowd.. It was horrible.
If Onlive manages to be successful, t
onlive requires a dual core processor which is funny since it is supposed to replace gaming pc's but dual core pc's can play all the games anyway so how much of the computing is really done online
China is a greater concern than India because China is not democratic and has more military power
Since when does the type of government mean your more likely to go to war. there are actually monarchy governments out there that are more peaceful than America is. Hell China hasn't tried to expand its borders for over a thousand years. Also India might have a smaller army now but they do have nukes.
Most Americans side with Israel...why?
Your thinking of the american media.. The american public is much more divided over the issue... A lot of people I know are more sympathetic towards the palestinians than the jewish population. The way I look at it is how can we say we're sorry to the Native Americans and then back up the bulldozing of houses in Israel. Our gov't feels its forced to support Israel since it was Britain and America's big idea
I mean, which country can realistically stand up to America?
Its not what country but how many have to band together to defeat us. The more america pisses off the world the bigger the coalition of the willing will be that takes us down.
Which is different from the locked in propriertary DRM on Xbox Live/PSN how exactly?
You will have to be online with your xbox and ps3 at all times now. Don't forget to pay you xbox live fee or you won't be able to play your steam games. Not to mention the horrible face of PSN Plus. Now you have to pay a monthly fee on PSN to get DLC, exclusive ingame items etc....
No, Britain as a country isn't responsible. BP isn't a nationalised company, nor is it even called British Petroleum. Obama needs someone to blame, just a shame it's a country, not the companies involved. Of course, he couldn't risk BP stopping selling to him, so...
I meant BP not Britain. Obama has never said that Britain is responsible either. Some people in american news have said it though and I agree that it is wrong.. But BP is British Petroleum.. The
Funny I just saw that portal 2 will be using steam on the consoles too. Welcome the drm machine to the console. The monopoly is almost complete.
