Ok, done ! windows is re-install on that hard drive witch is totally functional. I still have to install all the drivers and updates of windows, but the material is and was ok all along. I still think this demo of Sins of a Solar Empire is in cause. I'm asking in different forums all over Europe to see if anyone had a problem of that kind with the demo of that game. Since then, i'm not going to retry the demo or buy the game, too dangerous to me. Sergei

I download this demo from http://www.jeuxvideo.com/jeux/downloads/0001/00017472.htm wich is absolutly legal, I wanted to tried before buying. The source is not questionable, i guess. I'm exploring the possibility my hard drive just died at that moment, i'll try to re-install windows and see. I let you know more about it. Thanks for the answer.

Hello everybody, I really like STR games and i hear a lot from SOASE, I DL the demo to try it. The problem is that the demo crashed windows (xp pro sp2) and yet does not boot even in failsafe mode, the computer goes on reboot again and again ! It seems the partition table is gone, no way to repair ! So i tried the demo on my second computer on wich i have linux ubuntu, so i tried the demo with wine. Incredibly, the SOASE demo has been able to crash also my linux computer !! Unt
