What's wrong with getting some lulz out of someone?

I totally agree with teh_defcon this game is fairly balanced. Its the ones who happen to get pwned by a certain class of ship once that will scream and call for an update just to fix the detail they don't like. Regarding howdidudothat?'s idiotic blacklist I took care of that as you may have noticed.

The funny thing is that after i read this thread. I went to play and game and I got a conflicting planet bonus.

It just happened to me yesterday after I read this thread! obiously I took a screenshot. I will post it shortly.

Howdidudothat's thread is now locked. I should have made this thread sooner, but honestly I did not think he would get so many responses from our community to his stupid list. I would have liked for the thread to be completely removed, but at least he won't be able to slander more players from now on. I hope.

As you may have noticed Howdidudothat started a thread blacklisting players. https://forums.sinsofasolarempire.com/336360 It seems that all one has to do to end up on his blacklist is piss him off. Frankly, I think that is an extremely stupid idea considering the small size of our community and the fact that he is the one who gets to edit the blacklist. I felt obligated to make this post&nbsp

Sure you can have your friends make a group, but in that case there is no point in recruiting random people.

Yeah Centurion you are right, I was responsible for that defeat. However there is a big diference between being a noob and bailing out of unfavorable games when you are new to Sins, and deliberatly pausing the game to annoy other players. You grow out of being a noob (likely), but you don't grow out of being an idiot as far as i'm concerned.

Around 6 pm I Hosted a 4v4. It was me and 3 other guys against [_]-ReborN, [_]-aggroed, [_]-Krunk and some other guy. To sum it up, after nearly 2 hours of gameplay it was clear my team was owning so [_]-Reborn surrendered, not quit but, surrendered. He stayed connected so he could pause the game then he would unpause it. The pausing and unpausing went on for about half and hour making us wait for about 5 minutes on each pause. I'm having the exact same problem as you. I assume we can't connect to ICO until we update, but we can't update either; Impulse is useless. So CAL ? anyone in?

Yes, after 12 hours of my post i still have the same problem.

After I type my password and click "Login" it waits 1-2 seconds and a windows appears "Disconected From Ironclad Online". Last time I played 3 days ago I did not have any problems, I ONLY boot vista SPECIFICALLY to play Soase. As soon as I'm done playing i switch back to Ubuntu, so any change in settings is virtually imposoble. but I even turned my only firewall completely off and still could not get in ICO. and I have never used a router my pc is connected directly to the modem

Hard enough as it is to horde a few players for a game some of them drop out intentionally at the begining, I Hate that, Others Join your chat channel to abuse you for not hosting the game they like. Then they begin to talk like pirates as if i'ts funny of something. A blacklist feature should be added that would allow you to prevent players you select from joinining your game or chat channel.

Guess I will keep on owning people with the TEC until the patch is out then.
