Starcraft's campaign was mind-numbing to me. It was just "Huge AI base. Kill it" over and over. Build your base. Blow up zerg. Repeat.Hell even Command and Conquer which came out like 4 years prior had creative missions, and damn that game was HARD. "Here's a commando, and engineer, and two rocket troops. Go steal nukes."
yeah that was one thing I loved about dark reign there were a crapload of mission varieties. I think the second mission in the game for the freedom gua

Oh yeah, and Dark Reign. Not Dark Reign 2 that was crap. Its an old RTS made by activision that seriously, if you ever played it, so much better than C&C, TA, or Age of Empires. The game had real story and atmosphere to it, and it was one of the few games that had a seriously awesome game manual they put alot of detail into. It didnt get to big because for some reason activision didnt put alot of advertisement money into it, but anyone I know that played it absolutely loved it. For the time

Dont even have the game yet but i totally agree on the planetary defense systems, like in star wars i think it was empire strikes, those HUGE cannons that were used to try and stop the imperial ships. Maybe more ways to attack/invade a planet other than "bomb it with a capital ship" I know surface battles arent really possible, but i had alot of fun in galciv2 using gas attacks as a planetary invasion tactic as the drengin, it just felt "evil". Planetary bombardment was fun too, not shooting

The company?here are some of your answer.alot of game company really don't fixed their games after they release it by thinking it's over and done with.some game developers don't have the money to do it and their not paid to do it unlike stardock, so why should they do it? even if they did get a patch for it, it would be the usually patch" help pervent crush, help stablize the game, fix some critical bugs and problems otherwish their customer will k
Not directed at anyone except pirates: You are the reason we have to deal with this crap. This is such utter misinformed horsecrap. Copy protection DOES NOT STOP PIRACY! Most games are online for download on or before release date. The software companies are not stupid. They know this. In fact someone I know who works for a well known software company has said that these days it's more and more about control (just what else will this Securom check be doing?) and also that stores like WalM
