I just hope the country stops going bannas after the election is over. Then maybe the candidate that wins can focus less on flinging sh*t and more on the issues gripping our country and the world at large.
Jedmonds, this is hardly inflammatory...there are plenty of other political topics more controversial than this on this board. This is a joke, nothing else...lighten up.
Not saying it is, and I do see the humor in it, but you do realise your setting yourself up for hell right? I tried to get a thread about the $700 billion buyout going and it turned into the "Dead horse buffet".
I would like to see a conversion option for scout ships. They allready kinda of do it, but I would like to see them take on a more serious role in sabatoge/espionage. They just don't do it right as they are now. The way I would change them is to give them a jamming signal that reduces thier chance to be hit by a %. They don't have to turn invisible, phase shift or anything fancy. They just need to last long enough to actualy do something before getting shot down by e
It's usualy based on the situation for me, No matter what I almost allways wind up starting next to volcanic or ice worlds as my neighbors. So I'm almost allways going down the civilian tree to pick up the colonize first. I then go for the ships and orbital defense next. Then I usualy pick up the mid and higher tiers out of all the other trees at about the same time. As for telling you which tree to get first, Well I say base it on what your needs&n
You would want to read the sticky post on political or inflammatory threads before making one.
Yes I was thinking of this too. If you controlled all the planets in your system and there were enough planes and you had enough metal you could build a Niven ring around your star. It would be able to support a huge amount of population though you would not be able to mine it but, with all those credits you would be able to buy all the metal and crystal you needed. It could also have a large credit bonus from tourism!
Well you wouldn't need to actualy have a ringworld
Could have atleast put up a link....don't find anything by a googlesearch
click the "external link" at the top of the page
How about making worlds in crazy shapes like the planet builders from Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy? (movie)
Nah normal clothes work better, serial killers look just like everyone else.
I'm to old to trick or treat, but I helped my little brother make a costume this year. We took a long plastic pirate sword and jammed a box of Rasin Bran, a box of Cheerios, and a box of Honey Comb down the blade. He's going as a cereal killer [e digicons][/e]
They shave down there?
I don't know if its funnier in or out of context.
There was a case where one guy killed another (in the real world) because of a Bonebiter from world of warcraft.
They shave down there?
HAH!! That just raises so many questions about furries and bikini waxing.
Hell would'nt have furries anyways...... animals have no souls.
"Furry" or "fury"?
hahaha
So I finished reading the whole Maple Story thing and, WOW!.... just WOW!....... I used to play World of Warcraft and used to hear little revenge stories of boyfriend/girlfriend revenge dramas. But, WOW! Real world punishment for that? Ever hear of account recovery? Or not sharring account information with anyone?
With my spyware, anytime I have to reinstall (hard drive recovery, new computer, ect.) it goes like this. I submit a request to the support and fill out a verification. Then an email is sent to me with a one time use download link. I download and set up and I'm good to go. Obviously it is because I am a subscriber to my anti spyware I get the service. To bad games could not have something similar. I case of some ramdom act of God (Jesus st
Do you also believe stores with antitheft devices consider all customers to be shoplifters? Does the presence of the TSA mean the government considers every traveller a hyjacker? NO, these just mean there are POTENTIAL troublemakers in any given population, and those troublemakers don't conveniently sort themselves out.
The TSA and antitheft devices don't follow you home and police what you can and can't have in your house. The best form of copyright protection would be the one you couldn't tell was even there. To bad that when you make a better lock, someone makes a better lockpick.
Quoting WIllythemailboy, reply 8 The books I've purchased with little magnetic tags in them beg to differ. Annoying little bastards, leaving an irritating bump in an otherwise pristine book Yeah, maybe they're still there, but you don't have to activate the tag in order to read the book. The tag doesn't phone home to make sure the book's still in your house. The tag doesn't investigate your other books and force you to remove s
Protecting your investment is very important, so I can understant the reasoning behind using DRM. There is a saying, "It's not who you are or what you're selling, it's who you're selling to." As long as EA and those like EA keep treating thier own customers like thieves, the more they are going to act that way. Customers are the very foundation of - any - company. If you can't trust your own
Instead of using the acronym DRM for current versions of " digital rights management" . I think companies should use, WAACAT WE ASSUME ALL CUSTOMERS ARE </
You can make the ships look like gundams, but they will move and fight like ships. I would like to see some kickass laser-beamsword fighting, but alas we can only dream.
