This is the mod I point people to when they claim that sins combat is boring! How goes the conversion? I can't wait till it comes out for entrenchment. I made a cheap version of this ages ago when I was still experimenting. Basically bumped up the fighters everything carried, and tried to give almost all the ships fighters too. It was a disaster sadly :P Yours far outshines any ideas I've come up with so far, good work man.

yeah, I could do that, but I'd prefer to make a new one (for tactical reasons). That way they have to use more tactical slots, and will be more careful with item placement. I guess I could just fiddle with it until I come up with a new item I guess, and if it fails, I'm going to do the flack thing (and also change the speed at which the turret tracks the target, because it's too slow for fighters.) EDIT: fixed my grammar [e digicons][/e]

Hey all, it seems (like eveybody else in the forum) that I decided to make a mod changing the amount of fighters in the game. Not that I made only one cheap supercarrier, (although I did learn that your average aircraft carrier of today has something like 80 planes in it), I increased the aircraft capacity of all the ships that carry them, but I have one little problem. I set the "CanFireAtStrikeCraft" or whatever value it was for all base defence turrets to true, but they can't track the lit

SlyDrivel, I live in Australia, probably designated at the technological toilet of the developed whold, but hey, we cannot hope to live up the the supreme might of our American overlords. Secondly, [link="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fisking"]Fisking[/link]is rude. Also, we do have a really crappy internet infrastructure. I have cable, so I was relating the problem or a friend (otherwise I wouldn't be here... I guess). But I digress. Stardock is right to feel morally smug compared t

I think you missed my point. Let's imagine you got a copy of Mass Effect for PC. Also imagine you have little or no internet. Mass Effect wants you to do internet verification periodically otherwise it assassinates your game. Now you head over to a buddy's house, download a 10 MB crack that skips the internet check. You can now use something otherwise rendered unusable due to DRM. Of course, now you're all jaded and bitter because you had to do something illegal to simply use the stupid thing, a

Piracy is driven by the fact that the price for dross we are forced to buy is now too high. On the other hand, you can go directly to the source, [link="http://torrentfreak.com/how-to-stop-warez-pirates-ask-them-nicely/"]as this guy did.[/link] Personally, I got Sins [B]because[/B] they have a dim view of DRM. HAs anyone seen the lengths EA goes to make their rubbish uncopyable? I'd say the crippling DRM is simply a red flag to the cracker groups that make piracy possible, and just the right nud

EA has a habit of bad PR. Crippling DRM? Check. Kill games with expansion packs? Check. Release a sequel with only different models and names (think of pretty much all their sprts games)? Check. It's a miracle they've managed to survive for so long, but I guess they do that by buying out the competition. As someone mentioned before, Vote with your wallets. It might not help with the DRM and general crappyness, but maybe they'll run out of money :D. Imagine that: Waging war with a company with at
